@caribeefy Yeah that's my point I don't think they do anything in organizing. If they go "we don't don bear week next year" bear week will happen anyway I'm still not fully sure what they organize

@calificio I did not know about that. But I also get the pandemic hit a lot of businesses in Spain very hard.

I wish I'd get a penny whenever someone says that ORMs exist to abstract you from SQL; one of the most sticky misconceptions in software engineering.

@eatonphil First and foremost, to map query results to objects. Some, but not all, also track changes in managed object graphs and sync those back to the database.
