If you want a dark horse top-5 fantasy WR - they/their team must have these traits: 80%+ Route Share (very few WRs do this now) 4K+ Team Pass Yards No Rookie or Sophomore QBs (correlates with the one above) These traits exist in ~90% of top-5 WR half-ppr finishers since 2021 per @FantasyPtsData Who do you think could be a top-5 WR this year not going in rd 1-2?

@_dougbell That and target competition is very real in Detroit with ARSB, LaPorta (when healthy), and Gibbs all warranting targets themselves

@callmesteveo7 This is a sweet stat. Would love to see how many other times this happened prior to 2021, as well as respective targets. My gut instinct says guys like Jamo have way less tgts since he was in a more run heavy offensive and is known to be a big ypc & yac guy, but idk if thats true

QBs throwing first-read, checkdown, and deep vs expectation relative to opponents faced (last two seasons) Don’t like the idea of Russ to NYJ with the young pass catchers/tackles you’re trying to evaluate if Geno went down

@FantasyPtsData has proof that Odunze's heel injury likely caused a significant decline in his play as early as Week 8! 0.452 Average Separation Score vs. Man Coverage in Weeks 1-7 (WR1) 0.038 Average Separation Score vs. Man Coverage in Weeks 8-13 (WR70) If Odunze can remedy his issue with drops, he's in a great situation to be a massive ADP outperformer in Year 3
Ian Hartitz@Ihartitz

Rome Odunze was fantasy's WR12 in PPR points per game in Weeks 1-8 before his heel injury (stress fracture in his foot) was officially listed on the injury report

In the NFL offseason, we forget there are seasons within seasons. Very relevant + informative splits (driven by injuries, QB, playcaller changes, etc.) are obscured in season-long numbers. Amazing article on this from Kyle, uncovering some huge draft targets at the WR position

One of my favorite sleepers, I would've thought about him in the 4th round. strong, physical outside wide receiver who excels in contested catch situations and generating YAC. Experienced and accomplished returner, run blocker, and his character reports are glowing
JP Acosta@acosta32_jp

I KNEW the Jags would be interested in Josh Cameron. I’m a fan of the player in this range. Strong through contact, 10 1/4 inch hands, 33 1/8 inch arms. Special teams guy too
