The use of a tariff is not to penalize a country for doing business with the United States, contrary to those who are eaten up by their TDS. A tariff is used to BALANCE trade. We are charged tariffs when we export our own goods to a country, our President is simply leveling the trading field. He is the only President since Ronald Reagan who loves this country more than his own wallet. THANK YOU @POTUS !!

If I was king for a day, I would offer zero U.S. tariffs on goods from other countries if they would levy zero tariffs on our goods sold to them. Trade is more complicated than that, and we live in the real world, but that should be the ideal.
