@guvrdian So many of these groups are propped then dropped for another one. It seems like every other year there's a new big group that takes over.
Many of these Kpop members go through years-long Kpop bootcamps as minors for the chance to be put into a group.

@guvrdian I don't think many Kpop fans are aware that big Kpop music companies are kind of quasi-government entities.
A big reason why Kpop became popular in the west in the first place is because they're essentially "soft power" for S. Korea global relations.
