PhD is submitted! I’m not quite sure what to do with myself after four years of PhDing, rolling natural disasters, property destruction, pandemic, and lockdowns with young twins as a solo parent. Here is a summary of my findings:

Partners trained by @WHOGOARN delivered a course on international outbreak response to 43 participants from 10 countries this month. With @ourANU 🇦🇺 & @DccNcgm 🇯🇵, the course helped trainees understand the realities & challenges on #GOARN deployment w/ an outbreak response team.

Undoubtedly my favourite part of my job is mentoring/supervising #FieldEpi students (across Solomon Islands 🇸🇧 PNG 🇵🇬 & Cambodia 🇰🇭 !). In response to an email I sent advocating for one of them, I received this today. It made my heart swell ❤️🥲 small things can have big impact🥹
