Walking into a Chevy dealership and ordering a steak and when they say they don’t have steak i say “fine. Make it 2 steaks then” because I’m so based. I just keep increasing the number of steaks until they escort me off of the premises.

A decade ago, Paris didn’t look like this. Ten years of sustained investment in its cycling network have transformed it into one of the world’s biking capitals, with cycling traffic up 3x and many routes seeing exponential traffic increases annually.

@onepercentdsgn 消防士が職業として書いてあるところはポイントだと思います。父はカナダで２５年間以上の航空管制官の仕事をして、有給は４０日間でした。消防士と似たようなシフトワーク式な仕事だったので、５日間働いて、４日間休みのシステムで、休日を引いて、１年間１５０日ほどしか働かなくてもよかったです。

カナダということもあり『実際どうなん？』を聞かれ過ぎたのであんまり触れたくないけど僕の意見だけ書いとくと『業界による』としか言えない
カナダはキツイ仕事は移民にしてもらってるので上澄みの話しだけだよねという意見もわかる。これをカナダのスタンダードだと思うのは無理がある
一方、同じ移民でも僕の見ているITの業界から見れば確かに日本やアメリカと比べても緩い。流石に年半分休みは無いので公務員に限るのか？は知らないけど、有給無制限（名ばかりが多いが）とか割とよく聞くし、一ヶ月丸々休みやワーケーションで海外みたいな話はカナダにいる日本人エンジニアからも普通に聞こえて来る
働くということに対する意識？というか感覚がゆるく、そんなことより家族との時間を大事にするというベースが強いのはカナダなのはそうだと思うけど、とはいえそれを『外国』のスタンダードにするのは無理があるよねとは思うかな。最近はむしろ日本の方がライフワークバランスに尖った会社もある印象だし。

Final few shots of trip to Bayern Munich. 75000 crowd , €6 a pint, Bratwurst €6. everything at a reasonable price even get €2 returned on your pint pot , transport to and from city centre so easy.
