Washington Post article today on the Pope’s trip to Africa:
“For Leo, African tour has personal meaning, political tests
Pope will navigate geographic shifts and cultural rifts, including a debate over polygamy as Catholicism booms on the continent”
Lots of talk about Pope’s ancestry (whether his distant relative St. Augustine has Creole blood line), multiple mentions of Trump (of course), same sex relations and polygamy, etc.
NOT ONE WORD about Christians being killed by Islamists.
Democracy dies in darkness…..HA HA HA!

@CoreyWriting See Inner Harbor in Baltimore. From thriving tourist attraction to abandoned zombie land.

Navy Yard is a great, newly constructed community. It will not survive if violence and chaos are allowed to run unfettered. The trendy shops and restaurants will shut down, and then we'll all be lectured about "underinvestment" and "systemic racism."

@julie_kelly2 @Savsays He’s also midget level “challenged” in his stature.
English

This fat disgusting POS better be in handcuffs today for his assault on @Savsays.
What kind of grown man attacks a woman (and a tiny one at that) from behind then continues to menace her?
This is the Left:

@MrAndyNgo But we are told crime has been eliminated in DC? Whoopsey!

@inside_IL_intel Adding - Hamas remains in place in Gaza while refusing to disarm.

Agree…..but:
Acknowledging that we are unlikely to deport a huge percentage of illegals given the feckless GOP and a President who is going wobbly, would you consider a grand bargain vs. this stupid amnesty bill?
We get:
* Voter ID and proof of citizenship to register to vote in 50 states
* Census does not include illegals
* End birthright citizenship
* Ability to move Federal trials and prosecutions out of DC/VA
* Felony to re-enter USA after being deported
* No legal/procedural blocks to deportations for those charged with crimes or DUIs (charged, not requiring convictions)
* Future illegals to be immediately deported after date of law
* Firm caps on legal immigration including minimum 5 year moratorium
The Left gets:
* Any illegal present can apply for work permit and residency permit, but ineligible for all welfare programs (does not include those charged with crimes or DUIs).
* After 10 years (ie same as Italy) of residence in USA, can apply for citizenship using normal process
* Residents eligible for schools, in-state tuition, etc if state implements
* No attempt to collect immigration related fines or back taxes
Just being pragmatic and trying get something valuable in exchange for the inevitable. If Dems reject, then they don’t care about illegals present - only future illegals. Good politics for us!

@camd_70 @E_Barcohana @NeuterTheDebt Who cares what Italy does? What are we, Italy's little brother? How about no naturalized citizenship at all. That sounds better to me.
English

@Savsays @douglassmackey Tough guy who is a midget. Figures he has to go after a woman. Where are the men who should have taken him down?
English

I'm waking up with a headache and stiff neck this morning due to how violently anti-ICE activist, Chris Ostroushko, shoved me down yesterday.
A second angle shows that he had to be held back by 5 men as he continued to charge at me.
I didn't speak a word to him all day yet he repeatedly called me a bitch and very clearly looks like he wanted to violently hurt me even worse than he did.
I'm happy to report that charges will be brought against this man, his wife and daughter.
English

@douglassmackey Does this include preemptive pardons for theoretical crimes that have not been charged? Talk about “unlimited”.
English

Biden's pardons were terrible. But he had an absolute right to issue them.
The oligarchs and the entrenched interests hate the fact that the president has power that they can't veto or control.
Power that can be properly used to benefit the common people.
The president's pardon power should never be hemmed in or abolished.
Chuck Todd@chucktodd
Perhaps Trump would have done this regardless, but let’s not forget Biden created this pre-emptive pardon precedent. The only good news that might come out of this pardon corruption: we will get a bipartisan supported Constitutional amendment to create a Congressional nullification process for all presidential pardons.
English

@nicksortor Yeah right, until they appeal the appeal because the two previous appeals were not considered properly. Trump will be out of office and Khalil and Kilmar will still be bouncing around our ridiculous legal charade.
English

@mattvanswol If there was no withholding and all had to write checks or do bank transfers for their estimated taxes each quarter, there would be a violent revolution against Government within 6 months. Guess that’s why they withhold - just making your life “easier”.
English

@Cernovich Nah - they are busy endorsing Salazar and Graham so they squash any chance of primary challenges.
English

@ACTBrigitte Very simple and efficient solution that nobody in the GOP considers. Get rid of Tax payer ID numbers and use SSNs is the key.
English

How do you get rid of every single illegal alien?
You make it impossible for them to live here.
You ban them from banking.
You ban them from housing.
You ban them from employment.
Make it impossible for them to live in America.
Take Action HERE: bit.ly/4sVeSks
English

Exactly. Beyond all else, the minute an illegal is given legal status they lose their main value differentiator - hard work provided for below market pay with no benefits and no tax payments by employer or earner.
When legalized, these benefits go away and earners and employers must compete in the main marketplace. Immediately there will be a need to import a whole new crew of black market workers else many small businesses cannot exist. The new legalized workers put more downward pressure on wages and employment opportunities. Insanity!
English

@E_Barcohana @NeuterTheDebt Italy is 10 years residence before applying for citizenship then it takes years more for approvals.
English

@C_3C_3 Meanwhile, our Pres goes after Massie, Good, Roy, MTG, etc. with fury but hardly a word after Thune flat out ignores Trump’s demand to pass the Save Act and blocks recess appointments. Make it make sense.
English

@ArkansasAngie @StoreyLine @LeaderJohnThune @SenateGOP Great job - keep exposing the Senators participating in this scheme. Bet they hate this exposure.
English

The Next Senate Proforma Session is tomorrow, April 9, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. (ET)
@LeaderJohnThune has NOT announced which dirty @senateGOP will do the dastardly deed
These RINOs know that their voters hate this so they keep it as quiet as they can
There must be consequences
Vote against all incumbents

When you have to say, “it’s not amnesty,” it’s usually amnesty
Heritage Action@Heritage_Action
The Dignity Act is a mass amnesty bill. No amount of bureaucratic hoops will change that.
