@bryanacotton1 @UTHealthACS Do you think it matters the study drug was only given by subcutaneous infiltration at the end of cases, not via surgeon or anesthesia administered regional block? I suspect for incisions like thoracotomy and laparotomy the muscle/fascia/chest wall layer is the real $ for pain.

Still OK to admit for exams. Do they ALL get a CT scan? Anyone still doing mandatory laparotomy?

American surgeon James “Red” Duke (1928-2015) established Life Flight in 1976, at the Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas. It was just the 2nd helicopter air medical program in the US when in began. And it recently became the first in the US to serve injured K9 officers!

@mgybel @bryanacotton1 @UTHealthACS @UTHealthSurg @East Great question. Since female patients < 50 years were excluded from Rh+ WB, we did not routinely screen for Rh antibody alloimmunization. Would be interesting info to know in included Rh- patients.
