GPT-5.6-Sol one-shotted this saas animation. Motion designers are officially out of a job as of today. It ran for almost 2 hours, completely autonomously, to get the job done.

@felixleezd it’s incredible. really nice dev experience and all the frontend comments are the fact that people can’t design for themselves. i’ve ditched plan workflows and most skills, i just speak to it like a normal human and it just, gets it. also, the app is immense.

Is it just me, or is Codex noticeably better than Claude Code.

@sama are you able to share any specifics into what model was used? the article states that it wasn’t a purpose trained one, however it would be interesting to know if any tweaks were made.

a general-purpose model solved a major open problem in mathematics. we'll be saying this a lot over the coming years, but this is a kinda big milestone. i'm very excited for AI to greatly extend our understanding of the world, but still, i have complicated feelings today.
