@cames_jumby @matta_tpa @River @Strike Fold is the only exchange with federally mandated audits, bankruptcy remoteness all published for the world to see.

@RonSwanonson It's been 6 months of drastic underperformance anon. But hey, who's counting?
English

It's head is so still that it isn't visible to the event sensor
Zack's Lab@zackslab
the bird has landed. what an amazing morning! event sensors are great for bullets AND humming birds (not surprising)

@ho_chi_zyn @TheGrayRider Yes it replaces tank
All you have to do is put the regulator in your mouth and jump in the water
English

@cumbatron @TheGrayRider Seems like that just replaces the tank. Doesn't seem all that useful to me. Nitrox is tried and true and cheap

Our old house had an in ground pool with a vinyl liner.
We started losing water and suspected there was probably a small hole in it.
Called the local pool supply company and they gave me the number of a diver that specialized in repairs.
The guy came out and found the leak and sealed it.
Kinda odd seeing a SCUBA diver swimming around in the pool.😳

@DadisFIRE @sweatystartup Can you explain? In this case wouldn’t more debt require more equity but he doesn’t have the capital? Therefore he needs partners to invest equity to access the debt.
How would he be able to use more debt if he doesn’t have equity to put up?
English

@sweatystartup That doesnt really answer my question. Why not use more debt? I get it if you dont want to answer.
Im not trolling here. Like I said Im not a fan of sharing my equity on real estate so its interesting when people do.
Many paths to success.

@jamesonhaslam For what it’s worth, I think any sane person would read that and disregard it but it does suck it affects your average rating overall on yelp

I've been praying the past few weeks. Unsure why.
There's good evidence behind prayer. It mimics breathwork, calming the nervous system, dropping cortisol, and quieting the brain. Daily prayers show lower depression, anxiety, and pain.
I'd like to develop a prayer practice. Growing up, the protocol was written for me. Explaining whom to pray to, the structure of the prayer, and the boundary conditions.
I don't really know how to pray now.

@robbiehendricks @realEstateTrent I think there is something to be said also for how builders can be scarred by subcontractors and the shit rolls uphill to the developer. Ultimately the buck stops at the builder’s desk and they are accountable for the subs they hire.
English

@realEstateTrent That's a fair point.
I'm scarred by a mold issue we had because of an error from a first time custom builder.

@sirsatsalot @SatoshiSimpleB @TFTC21 I feel like this is only true because there is a bitcoin education problem out there
It took me a long time to understand Bitcoin and I’m still learning
English

@cumbatron @SatoshiSimpleB @TFTC21 Self-custody is for the 1%. Most cannot or will not. Its a pareto distribution thing.
English

@cumbatron @TFTC21 Fair pushback.
Better UX and self-custody are the foundation. Without those, Wall Street distribution is just another extraction layer.
Both layers have to win. That's the whole game.
English

@SatoshiSimpleB @TFTC21 I don’t think Wall Street involvement is anything to get excited about because it is diverting individuals from self-custody and from using Bitcoin as money
The real focus should not be on more Wall Street but to make using Bitcoin more intuitive for the commoners.
English

This is the central tension Bitcoin is going to have to navigate for the next decade.
The cypherpunks built the foundation. The suits brought the legitimacy. But neither group can carry the project alone.
The freedom money crowd needs Wall Street's distribution to reach the next billion users. Wall Street needs the cypherpunks to remember why the protocol can never change.
The day either side wins completely is the day Bitcoin loses its meaning.
English

@illiquid__ @moseskagan I do t think that’s the point of his post
It’s more a message about things that happen which most people would never consider
English

@moseskagan Sure but this isn't an actual consideration for institutional investors

Sad fact of residential property management:
Prime rental age (20s) is the period during which schizophrenia tends to emerge.
Property managers are often among the first to know when someone is unwell & there’s little we can do to help, besides informing their emergency contacts.
(Strongly recommend getting a locking office door with buzzer system, though.)

@AISafetyMemes Basically can’t trust anything online anymore
Thanks AI, now how do we know what the truth is?
English

@LukeDashjr @DutyToRebel Is this through some method of compressing the blockchain?
It seems important to maintain full historical record on a node.
English

@DutyToRebel You can run a full node with 50 GB if you're trying to save money.

@NickW320214 @kimmonismus Rooftop solar is an interesting use case for preexisting or new buildings instead of plots of land for solar farms
English

@kimmonismus Hell no, build a nuclear plant and stop covering our planet in hideous solar panels.
English

80 panels per hour or one every 45 seconds. 1,920 per day.
I love it. This is something we should scale up massively: affordable energy, which is necessary for everyone.
Chubby♨️@kimmonismus
OECD countries have moved past a structural peak in fossil fuel electricity, with generation down 19% since 2007 as wind and solar more than covered both demand growth and fossil decline. Expanding storage capacity is particularly helpful for storing solar energy. Solar power is the future, affordable, readily available, and easily scalable. However, nuclear energy also has significant benefits.

@AdamParx @shawngorham @Trent_Tarasen An unfinished panel end in appliance openings is common. Once the appliance is in you never see that surface…
