ninguém me convence que ter filhos é melhor que essa liberdade pra viajar quando quiser

Stake conference should be broadcast so we can watch at home.

People asking for proof usually aren’t stupid. A lot of them are tired. Some have been burned. Some just don’t want to get fooled. I get that. The Book of Mormon’s pushback is simple though. God isn’t a lab experiment you control. If the posture is prove it right now, in my timeframe, in my preferred format, you’re basically putting yourself in the judge’s seat and asking Him to audition. Faith is the opposite posture. It’s not pretending. It’s not turning your brain off. It’s choosing to move toward Christ with what you already have, even if it’s small. That’s why Alma 32 is such a big deal. He’s not saying manufacture belief. He’s saying try an honest experiment. Make room for the word. Live it long enough to see what it does to you. Watch if it changes your desires, your patience, your temper, your relationships, your sense of peace. That’s not a demand for fireworks. That’s willingness. And Ether 12:6 nails the order. Faith comes first, then the witness. Not because God is stingy, but because trust is part of the actual relationship. If I only “believe” after I get everything handed to me, I’m not really following Him, I’m evaluating Him. So when I say come closer, I mean do the basic things that put you in a place where God can actually speak. Read the Book of Mormon with real intent, not as a gotcha exercise. Pray like you actually want an answer, not like you’re daring Him. Then pay attention to what happens inside you and in your life. That’s the “walk with Him” piece. You learn the voice of the Spirit the same way you learn anyone’s voice, by spending time with them. Consistency. Honesty. Real effort. And if someone wants a sign first, the Book of Mormon’s warning is pretty blunt. Signs don’t fix a heart that’s already decided. Helaman 16 shows people watching miracles and still finding a way to dismiss them. If a person is committed to not believing, no amount of proof is enough. So faith matters because it’s the doorway. Not the finish line. It’s the willingness to step toward Christ before you can see the whole road.

Yes please. Show me where someone in your church talks about how no one has seen God, nor can see God. 1 Tim 6:16
