I just moved to Cyprus 🇨🇾 My first impressions and why I moved: > it's safe (unlike rest of Europe) > friendly people (unlike rest of Europe) > quiet > clean air > fast WiFi > tax friendly > great coffee > amazing food > very walkable > incredible weather > affordable (€2 for coffee, €7 for meal) > great laptop cafe culture (unlike rest of Europe) > growing tech scene (unlike rest of Europe) It's been so long since I had somewhere I could lock in from and call home. I was torn between UAE and Cyprus but the last month made my decision for me. And so far I am so happy with my decision.

Onboarding flow’unuzun sonu böyle görünüyorsa, muhtemelen doğru yoldasınız. Çünkü bu çok güçlü bir onboarding psikolojisi. Ekran ekran anlatıyorum 👇 1) Önce kullanıcıya şunu söylüyor: "Planın hazır." Bu çok kritik. Çünkü kullanıcı artık kendisine özel bir şey oluşturulduğunu hissediyor. 2) Sonra planın küçük bir özetini gösteriyor. Age, goal, Fitness level, intensity... Bu ekranın amacı: "Senin verdiğin bilgiler gerçekten kullanıldı." hissini vermek. 3) Tam o noktada paywall geliyor. Ama artık kullanıcı şu durumda: "Benim planım hazır." Yani ürünün değeri zihinde oluşmuş oluyor. 4) Sonraki ekran: "Hadi ilk egzersize başlayalım." Bu çok iyi bir momentum kullanımı. Çünkü kullanıcıyı direkt aksiyona götürüyor. 5) Kullanıcı hazır değilse? Problem yok. Planlama ekranını gösteriyor. Kullanıcıya sürekli "Bu uygulama benim için çalışıyor." hissi veriyor. Bu da çalışıyor. Özellikle bu tarz fitness gibi app'lerde.

for the tiktok slideshows automatoooooors slideshows get views. they get lots of views. you can put together some trending audio with some pictures, add some text overlays, and you might get 100K, 500K, even a million views. you even do it automatically with larry or whatever. but here's the problem: those views don't convert to downloads. almost nobody clicks through to your link. almost nobody goes to your profile. almost nobody searches for your app. the views are hollow. they're empty calories. the pretty girl sitting in front of the camera, actually speaking to the lens, showing her face, showing emotion, that's what drives downloads. I've tested this extensively. the difference is dramatic. a slideshow might get 10x the views, but a real person video gets 10x the conversion rate. net net, the person video wins every time. the views that matter are the ones that turn into users. do slideshows because they can be automated just know that you need a crazy amount of views to get a few sales

I'm not running mobile apps myself, so I cannot comment on what worked for me best. This is what I've seen works for other people on X and for other users of my databases. I will be running mobile apps soon but I first want to prepare the whole infrastructure. I just finished building infrastructure to run mass UGC campaigns. Finding creators & tracking them (available on topyappers) Now I have a really good app idea which I will test this infrastructure on and will be posting a lot how that works for me.

Too many people keep asking me: “Does using a VPN get you shadowbanned on TikTok?” Short answer: No. TikTok does not ban VPNs. But most people use them wrong. A few things you must know: > Don’t use cheap or low-quality VPNs shared by too many users → Imagine TikTok seeing 1,000 accounts on the same IP > Always turn on your VPN before opening TikTok → You don’t want your IP jumping between continents > To target US users, you don’t have to pick a US VPN → Countries in the same time zone like Canada work just fine > The US has massive communities speaking Spanish and other languages → Try creating content in those languages → Less competition, easier reach VPN ≠ shadowban Bad setup = problems

How I target US users for my B2C apps: > Buy a used iPhone (~$120) > VPN to the US > Warm up the account 3–7 days like a normal user > Pick a TikTok niche that’s already viral + fits your product (If your app isn’t Gen Z / 16–30 friendly, TikTok may not work) > Build an AI content factory / AI influencers > Post daily > If a video stays under 0->1k views → change content fast Instead of burning $200–$2,000/week hiring UGC creators. I build an AI influencer army at almost $0 cost. Virality doesn’t always happen immediately after posting. For example, the video below was posted at the end of last December and only got ~2k views at first. Today, it just started going viral, reaching 214k+ views in a few days (and it’s still growing). Consistency > luck. Distribution > everything.

Vibecoderlar bilir 🙂 Uygulamayı yayına aldıktan sonra iş bitmiyor. Asıl zaman alan kısım çoğu zaman App Store tarafı oluyor: farklı diller için açıklamalar, metinler, screenshot’lar derken süreç beklenenden daha yorucu hale geliyor. Ben özellikle şuralarda çok zorlandım: – App Store açıklamalarını tüm desteklenen dillere çevirmek – Her dil için ayrı ayrı screenshot hazırlamak – Sonra hepsini tek tek App Store Connect’e yüklemek (En zorlandığım kısım) Bu süreçte iki tane gerçekten işimi kolaylaştıran çözüm buldum, paylaşmak istedim: 1️⃣ Helm @helm_app App Store Connect’e alternatif gibi çalışıyor. Tüm App Store metinlerini (description, subtitle, keywords vs.) tek yerden yönetebiliyorsun. Çeviri kısmı çok rahat ve küçük ama faydalı ASO özellikleri var: kelime önerileri, dil bazlı düzenleme vs. Metin işleri için çok iyi. Review görüntüleme cevap verme vs gibi epey özelliği var. 2️⃣ App Screens @AppScreensASO Screenshot tarafında inanılmaz zaman kazandırıyor. Bir kere tasarımı yapıyorsun, tüm dillere tek tıkla çeviriyor. Beta bir özellikle, screenshot’ları direkt buradan App Store’a yükleyebiliyorsun. Biraz zaman alıyor ama manuel yüklemekten kat kat iyi. Özetle: Eğer iOS uygulama geliştiriyorsanız ve “bu App Store işleri neden bu kadar vakit alıyor” diyorsanız, bu iki tool benim için ciddi fark yarattı. Linkler mention kısmına bırakıyorum 👇
