🚨SIX ARRESTED FOR SPEAKING THE TRUTH IN UNPRECEDENTED REPRESSION TO STOP US🚨 At 7:30pm yesterday, over 30 Metropolitan Police officers broke into a Welcome Talk at the Quaker Meeting House in Westminster and arrested six people, including one attending their ever event and a journalist. Police said that they were arresting people for conspiracy to cause a public nuisance. This is how we know the state is scared of us telling the truth. We will not be intimidated. Only sustained mass resistance can put an end to genocide. Re: videos circulating of todays protest.
1) We welcome the ceasfire, but the problems remain. Tens of thousands killed, Gaza brought to rubble, children denied education.
2) We absolutely must defend the right to peaceful protest in the UK
3) The arrest of Chris Nineham is shocking. Chris has been the chief steward for peace demonstrations for decades (inc. 2003 in opposition to Iraq invasion) and has led all of the demonstrations for Gaza peacefully.
Peaceful protest is a fundemental democratic right.
