It takes real guts for @andylapteff to learn MCPs so publicly tonight on @artofneteng As promised we did a "Hello World" MCP - The @NetBoxOfficial MCP - and connected it to Andy's VS Code Copilot and then Claude Desktop Andy was able to ask questions like "Show me all the circuits in New York" The full recording is only and hour; I would say within 30 minutes we had Copilot working and Claude another 10 minutes later If you are wondering how and where to take your first AI steps I would strongly recommend you set aside some time to watch this one when it comes out. Thanks Andy! From your first Git clone to a python venv to installing the MCP JSON to connecting it to Copilot / Claude Desktop. I feel like you took some *huge* strides forward and will certainly bring others from the community along with you.

It's weird to me that "yelling" aka all caps at my coding agent actually results in it thinking harder. part of me feels bad, the other part realizes that it works. I suppose I could just learn to say "Look take this seriously ok, it's broken" - i've tried that, doesn't work.
