As we pass bills during legislative session the assumption is they will become law in some form- so those that bring in revenue are included in our budget for schools, transportation, health care, etc. Vetoes create deficits in our budget and require cuts to those core services.

Two weeks ago Louise Lucas and Don Scott held a press conference to celebrate Virginia being able to gerrymander Republicans out of office. Scott: "We kick their mother****** ass." How'd that work out? BTW, what's Louise Lucas up to nowadays? Poor Nicolle Wallace. She was so happy after the Scott/Lucas press conference. It may have been the first time that she smiled since 2016. Oh well. 🤣
