whilst in SF I’ve purchased a MacBook Neo for testing this little thing is surprisingly powerful! pleased to say that the next version of @Cap runs *smoothly* on a A18 Pro chip with 8gb RAM. lots of new optimisations unlocked.

@enjidev you change the cursor settings in the Cursor tab within the editor. Change to a preset like “Fast”, or manually change the settings to your preference! You can also disable custom cursor for future recordings if you wish, in Settings -> General

I built a Raycast extension. The post about the TrustMRR extension has received the highest number of views so far - I got lucky by being selected by Mark as a top quote in the 🧵 • posting extensions that are related to a trend work • if people are posting about raycast, usually my posts were getting more view as well milestones • celebrating round numbers are fun, I love them, it looks like you guys like them too, algo - not so much raycast's team support: • the team is just awesome! Feels like the algorithm probably doesn't like the same motions in the videos or analyze the text in the video. That's my wild guess. expectations • some video doesn't work and you can't do anything about that. I spent 5 minutes making a video, got 12k views. Spent 4 hours building an extension and 1 hours recording a video --- This post would have been incredibly helpful to me at the beginning. I hope it will be useful to someone else. someone please disrupt loom lots of possible improvements, built-in network effect

we’re trying to smash recording and exporting bugs as much as possible. We hope we’re closer to this in v0.4.83 of @Cap, but if you can replicate a bug in recording (instant or studio mode), or in exporting, and you create a PR fixing it, I’ll send you $100-$300 depending on the severity. the goal is to make Cap feel bulletproof, and it’s going to be a monumental effort from lots of people, on lots of different variations of setups to do this. It’s really easy to get started locally. Just follow the instructions in our GitHub.
