We are hiring forward deployed engineers from around the world. The talent we’ve been talking to coming from X has been incredible. Many engineers that go through our ‘beat AI’ challenge (in my profile) have been remarkable. If that’s you, take the challenge. 😉
Aaron Levie@levie

Forward deployed engineers, or equivalent, are about to become one of the most in-demand jobs in tech. And one of the most important functions for AI rollouts. Deploying agents is far more technical of a task than most people realize, often far more involved than deploying software. Software generally works the same way every time, and generally for the past few decades has been updated versions of an existing technology or concept (which basically means easier for the enterprise to update their workflows on a newer system). With agents, you’re actually deploying the equivalent of work output within the enterprise. The customer is effectively using you as a professional services provider for a task, which they expect to get solved nearly end-to-end now. This means you need to actually deeply understand the business process as a vendor, and get the customer from the current to the end state seamlessly. Companies need help figuring out which models will work best for their workflows, they need extensive evals setup often, they need change management support for workflows, they need to get their data setup for the agents, and constant tuning of the agentic system for their process. Massive role in tech now. And another example of the kind of highly technical work that AI is creating.

为 Hermes Agent 提供一套开箱即用的技能和工作流层,覆盖从想法到部署再到运维的完整应用生命周期。 github.com/Salomondiei08/…

10,000 users!!! 😍🫶 I feel so emotional right now. I honestly can’t believe SportyClaw AI has crossed 10k registered users. This feels unreal 😭 What started as a simple AI prediction assistant side project has spiralled into an All-in-One betting power tool for thousands of users across Africa 🤯 And honestly, I'm still just getting started. I’ve shipped code EVERY DAY since launch, constantly improving the product, fixing bugs, and listening closely to users. With this milestone, I’ve also decided it’s time to rebrand the look of SportyClaw AI 😁 Watch this space. This is going to be one of the next big products out of Africa 🫡🤞🏻 Still DAY 1. Back to work 👨🏼‍🍳
SportyClaw AI@sportyclaw_ai

We just crossed 10,000 users! 🥳 Thank you to everyone using SportyClaw AI to make betting research, ticket analysis, code conversion, and predictions easier every day. 10,000 users is only the beginning. Thank you for being part of the journey ❤️

While I bring a close to the "@moniepointng crusades," because this week is going to be really busy for me, just want to say I've contributed my mettle to the "talent gap" and related issues, in Nigeria, both as a trainer, an advocate, and a manager, and I know what I've seen in terms of quality of talent within the Nigerian talent ecosystem. In the first cohort of the Microsoft Leap program, I saw ladies who came in as noobs and studied unrelated topics like Biochemistry, arguing Network Subnetting by the 3rd week of training. Within 2 years, most of them were made Leads and Seniors in the companies they were placed at. Several of them relocated outside the country obviously because employers here didn't see or value their worth. Whether you have a huge following or not, but especially if you do, understand that being the pillar and ladder to those coming after you is the lowest hanging fruit to cement your name in the annals of posterity. I'm not expecting Tosin to apologize, but I'm hoping he reconsiders his statements, and I hope every other Technical Leader in this country have the mindset to elevate young minds and talents who are not the cause of their present predicaments, but use their existing platforms and resources to prune and elevate perhaps unpolished diamonds in the ecosystem. Ciao!

Why is there no tech company in Nigerian for artisans? Like Andela, but for craftspeople and with certification and licensing.
