It's bizarre isn't it. Dubai has no income tax, usually no CGT, no inheritance tax and 5% VAT. Surely if you wanted to live there for tax reasons you would have done it already? Does a rise in CGT on shares and IHT on farmland and pensions really tip the balance?

The trickle’s becoming a flood. I’ve just come off a call from yet another entrepreneur who’s leaving the UK and heading to Dubai permanently in March. It’s estimated that 10,000 millionaires will leave this year - that’s a lot of tax that won’t be paid here now.

I was at Woolies earlier in the Frozen Food section which is colder than a dead eskimo's fart. They had these whole frozen chicken, and i wanted one for a family dinner. I asked the shop attendant "Do they get any bigger?" He replied with a straight face "No, they're dead" 🤣

@Uber_Support Guys, I want you to say that no driver will ever be allowed to pick up anyone with a car with hardly any petrol and a flat tyre. And that you take full accountability for any driver doing so. That’s what you should say.
