Sometimes having a more straightforward journey is better than a quicker one. Eg: One bus takes you 45 minutes but 2 buses gets you there in 30. I'd rather the first option unless I'm in a rush.

@Ed_Miliband It’s only sunny in the day. Wind is highly variable. You need something else for windless nights and cloudy days. No hope of having enough batteries. What’s your answer? If it’s gas, then drill and crack for our own gas. If it’s nukes, you not need solar and wind.
