Let's be honest, most found footage movies aren't very good. Mostly due to bad acting. REC is on a different level. The acting is 100%, the directing, editing, special effects great. It's a very scary film, and you actually feel really bad for the lead actress!

Was not expecting to wake up to any of this news today. 💔 Ronnie Le Drew (best known as ‘Zippy’ in Rainbow) has unfortunately passed away. Was very grateful to always have chats online with him about Rainbow, Sooty and puppets. Condolences go to his friends and family 💐

That's tbe rest of my day sorted. Currently watching the original Evil Dead film. Then I will be watching Evil Dead 2, followed by tbe Evil Dead remake. And finishing of with Evil Dead Rise. Love these films. Got a pizza for later aswell. Living my best life.

@SkinTrader2 Brilliant series and like others have said the Manga is well worth a read. Shogun assassin 1 & 2 are still fun but when you see the full series you realise how much you have missed out on.

Finishing off the Lone Wolf and Cub series tonight with this one.

@Goth__Chris I was disappointed. Good creepy sound and the story was solid as was the acting. But I hated the lighting - dark should be dark but it's lit up like there's light sources everywhere. A solid 6 out of 10 for me.

Filmmaker Chuck Russell has passed away at 74. Chuck Russell directed The Blob & Nightmare on Elm Street: Dream Warriors in the 1980s, and later directed The Mask, Eraser, Bless the Child, The Scorpion King, and Witchboard (2025). A horror legacy that will never be forgotten.

@Goth__Chris Real pity we lost Joe, the little bit of Maniac 2 that was made showed a lot of promise. Like others have said the remake is damn good, not dirty and grimey but still nasty. Elijah Woods is great, so nice to see him doing films like this. I'm sure his manager is saying don't lol
