It is truly astonishing that an educated academic, with experience in the Arab world, would make the blunder of considering the cities of Ceuta and Melilla as examples of Spanish colonization on the African continent. Any Spaniard over the age of 16 knows -and any foreigner who dares to write about African affairs should know- that both cities were an integral part of the Kingdom of Spain for 500 years before the Kingdom of Morocco was even established. And at least one of them was not taken from the Arabs… but from the Portuguese. Not to mention your unwelcome hostility towards Spain, as gratuitous as it is unfounded. Even President Trump has acknowledged that Spaniards are a great people, despite having a terrible government. After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.

Esto es un problemón. Como cuando preguntas algo en Google te responde la IA ya no haces clic sobre las páginas que te resuelven la duda. Sin esos clics, las webs que daban estas respuestas están desapareciendo, ya que pierden su fuente de ingresos. Pero, a su vez, la IA necesita de esas páginas, ya que son la fuente de la que saca la información. Sin estas, muy pronto la IA empezará a responder con información errónea u obsoleta. Es un sistema que se devora a sí mismo y estamos matando la fuente que genera valor sin encontrar nada que la sustituya. La cuestión es cómo lo resolvemos, y no tengo ni la más remota idea.

Last month, I shared a bit here about how my 17-year-old son has a passion for video game development and has spent hundreds of hours over the last 9 months creating his first game for release. Well, I want to let you know that Nitro Turtles is now out! It's a party racing game (kind of like Mario Kart) and has 9 courses, a speedrun mode with online leaderboards, and split screen/online multiplayer. My husband and I played all 9 courses against each other last night and IT WAS SO FUN! I'm so proud of him for the accomplishment. He has a really demanding junior year schedule of AP/Dual Credit/Honors classes, has straight As, and somehow managed to develop this all on his own out of pure passion. He started teaching himself programming in 3rd grade and just developed his skills from there. Nitro Turtles in the culmination of all the subsequent years of self-driven learning. Niantic acaba de revelar que las fotos y los escaneos de realidad aumentada recopilados a través de Pokémon Go han generado un conjunto de datos de más de 30 mil millones de imágenes del mundo real.
