I prayed for over a year. Not loudly. Not dramatically. Quietly. As a Catholic father, I watched my son date someone who did not believe in God. I loved him. I supported him. But inside, I was struggling. I had raised my children in the faith, and I wondered if I had failed. So I did what Catholic parents have done for centuries. I prayed. I offered Mass. I asked Our Lady every day to guide my son and bring someone into his life who would share his faith. Last year, that relationship ended. It hurt him. And it hurt me to see him sad. But I trusted that God was working. Then he met a young Filipino woman on campus. She had been away from the Catholic faith for many years. Then she started going to Mass with him. Then she joined our family Rosary on Sunday evenings. She had never prayed the Rosary before. Tomorrow, she receives Confirmation. My oldest son will be her sponsor. And she will receive the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ. This is what grace does. It moves quietly. It works through prayer. It heals what we cannot control. Parents, keep praying. Our Lady is listening. 🌹

Two years ago, I was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer, and given six months to a year to live. I spent the past two years, trying numerous forms of treatment; radiation, chemo, a couple different kinds of targeted drug therapy, immunotherapy, and surgeries. I, also kept power over my health where I could do so. I fired my first oncologist who didn’t include me in the decision making. She basically viewed me as The Walking Dead. I found an oncologist who thought outside of the box and completely believed in my power to fight. I didn’t stop working out. I cut sugar from my diet (Keto), And I turned my worries to God. My body is bruised and beaten but my oncologist has informed me today that my latest CT-Scan with contrast, shows no active cancer. I’m not ringing any bell; I know the likelihood of reoccurrence is a strong probability. Yet, this is a major triumph that I want to share with my many friends on here who supported me. I appreciate all of your prayers and love. 🤍🙏🏼🤍

@DawnFantasia_NJ Thank you for being one of the adults in the room. You're absolutely right. We wanted the glory of being a host location but didn't plan for transportation or security? What did we think was going to happen?

ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MINDS??? No one forced the World Cup on us. NJ (and NY) scrambled to land it & FIFA was clear on security footprint & logistics since 2022. Every other host city committee planned & raised funds for this transportation issue. The answer is you don’t have one. $150 trains or $80 shuttles? AWFUL. Make NJ taxpayers pay? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Raise sales tax & hotel taxes across the entire state? NUTS. To add to the circus, Trenton Dems approved TWENTY MILLION DOLLARS TO ADVERTISE THE WORLD CUP, as if it was a mystery of sorts 🤦‍♀️ If only we had four years to plan for what we knew was coming this summer 🤔 Your poor planning now became everyone's problem. Y’all wanted the glory and the goods...but you didn't plan on how to pay for it.

The World Cup's $11 billion profit estimate for FIFA means they can spare train ticket subsidies for fans. Read our letter for details. @RepMenendez @RepDanGoldman

A library in every room, and the freedom to pull books out and explore. One of the most important parts of my journey as a reader was being left with little supervision in a public library, and being allowed to max my checkouts with whatever I wanted. What I was required to read did very little compared to what I was allowed to read.

The low-hanging fruit in education is embarrassingly simple: more reading. If we could get a significantly higher percentage of kids to spend 2-3 hours a day reading from ages 7-8 into their teens, most would develop a more solid foundation for high school than do the bored, inattentive kids in lessons that most don't find engaging.

This is chilling. Hollywood star Rob Schneider reflects on the Christ-like work of Charlie Kirk, encouraging thousands to live for Christ. “You don’t kill a Christian, you only change his address.” ✝️

Choosing a young, attractive woman as your executive assistant is a mistake. It’s unwise. Sherrone Moore has a wife, three kids, his dream job, and claims faith in Jesus. He is not uniquely undisciplined. Many men struggle with lust. He put himself in a compromising position. As a man, you have an obligation to protect yourself and your family, and the best way is to never place yourself in a situation where you might make this mistake. He put the temptation in front of him every day. Many men have and would stumble the same way in this position. Protect yourself and your family by being wise about how who you choose to surround yourself with every day.

That’s exactly the point, those are the downsides, and they’re not small. What the Church teaches about contraception isn’t about control or shame, it’s about protecting the sacredness of love, life, and God’s design for human connection. Believe me, I’m no stranger to failure. I’ve used contraception and had sex before marriage, I’m a sinner saved only by grace. But looking back, I see how much the sexual revolution deceived an entire generation into thinking “freedom” meant rejecting God’s boundaries. In reality, it just left people more broken, lonely, and confused than ever. The sexual revolution promised liberation but delivered addiction, objectification, and emptiness. It normalized lust, reduced intimacy to transaction, and turned people, especially women into commodities. And contraception played a huge part in that shift. It disconnected love from life, responsibility from pleasure, and covenant from commitment. God’s plan for sexuality isn’t outdated, it’s divine wisdom. Real love isn’t about using each other; it’s about sacrificing for one another. The Church’s teaching isn’t meant to shame us, it’s meant to heal us, to call us back to wholeness, to remind us that our bodies are temples, and that every act of love is meant to mirror Christ’s love for His Bride. I thank God for His mercy, because even when we get it wrong, He can redeem every piece of our story and make it holy again. ✝️🙏🏽

I don’t get why Catholics make such a big deal about contraceptives. The only downsides are higher divorce rates, higher infidelity rates, the normalization of objectifying other people for sexual desire, birth rates falling below levels for replacement (civilizational collapse).

An hour before his event at UVU, I sat down with Charlie Kirk for what would become his final recorded conversation: a warm, inspiring, and apolitical dialogue on entrepreneurship, building businesses and an outlook for tomorrow.
