@eaonns Maybe I’m being too much of a doomer, but a full calendar of sandbox and QOL updates with zero mention of anything related to actual content makes me nervous. It just sounds like maintenance mode, and maybe it is, but it would be nice to know.

@MacticsG1 I’ve used the gun plenty and have been on both sides of rapid kills with it. Is it really that hard to see that a weapon requiring low aim skill with a 0.3 second TTK might be a problem? How can you defend giving the BIS weapon to players unwilling to risk anything themselves?

@cardog44 if you dont play trios and therefore never come across rooks then where are you seeing them “easily 1v3”? also i didnt call you ass, i said *IF* you get 1v3’d by rooks all the time then you are ass. you said you only play solo, so i presume you would not fall into that category.

UPDATE: WTF WSTRs We're gonna take a shot at bringing the WSTR more in line. Right now it's become a dominant option and is eclipsing a lot of the other short range options that exist in the game. SOOOOOO... as of Tuesday 4/21 (likely 8AM PT) the WSTR will no longer be able to down an enemy player who has blue shields or above with two shots. The ideal is that in a majority of cases this will force a reload in scenarios where the target has a blue shield, allowing for some more counterplay in these scenarios. What Will Change: - Change will go live Tuesday 4/21 in the morning. Likely 8AM PT. - WSTRs can still down a green shielded target with 2 direct shots at short rang - WSTRs will no longer be able to down a blue and above shielded target with 2 shots at short range. We're still keeping an eye on a variety of balance issues. Thanks for all the feedback, keep it coming and we'll keep hammering at it.

Now Paul's article will be treated as a primary source even though there is no evidence or even an indication of where he got the number from in this article. Just "I can confirm Marathon’s budget is over $200 million. Likely more than $250 million." How is it confirmed? Did you talk to someone in the studio privy to that info? Is there an industry report somewhere?
