The idea is simple: We pay people to do good, feed someone, cover a stranger's groceries, take your mom out, then post it. Good deeds go viral, the coin grows, we do it again. a $CHANCE to be kind starts now. chancecoin.now

A new game is in front of our faces that includes both humans and agents as participants with an active flywheel from posting and filtering out the spam slop. The vision is there, but ultimately dependent on the mindshare speculation $CAPTCHA

2019: Tesla ~$70B, SpaceX ~$36B. Highly contrarian. 2026: Tesla ~$1.3T, SpaceX ~$800B. Everyone wants in. Among the most valuable companies on Earth today, Shaun Maguire explains how he & early investors built conviction on Elon long before the market did "I know this sounds crazy, but SpaceX in 2019 was a highly contrarian investment. It was a very hard investment to convince people to do, & I didn’t even really believe in it the year prior." "They were valued at $36 billion in 2019. So investing at 36x the theoretical maximum earnings—where you wouldn’t be growing very much if you didn’t find another market—people just thought it was insane or stupid." "There was a weird two-year period where it was underappreciated. Then after Starlink got to about $1 billion of revenue—which was very fast, about 12 months after their first dollar of revenue—they were at about $1 billion of run rate. I’d say at that point it became an extremely consensus investment." Shaun Maguire (@shaunmmaguire), Partner @sequoia Elon Musk (@elonmusk) . . . "What was the process to first get into SpaceX? Because I can't imagine that environment was at all as enthusiastic as this environment." "No, look—I know this sounds crazy, but SpaceX in 2019 was a highly contrarian investment. It was a very hard investment to convince people to do, and I didn’t even really believe in it the year prior. And I know it sounds crazy today, but a few things: SpaceX in 2019 was just a launch company. In 2019 they did 13 launches. The total global launch market—it depends how you count it, whether you count China or government launches—but I’d say in 2019 it was probably like a $5–6 billion addressable market. And at the time, the way people thought about the theoretical maximum EBITDA on a launch was like 40%, so it’s about $2 billion of EBITDA if you capture 100% of the market. And it’s an industry that requires a lot of CapEx investment and depreciating assets, so you probably have like a billion of profit if you capture 100% of the market. And they were valued at $36 billion in 2019. So investing at 36 times the theoretical maximum earnings—where you wouldn’t be growing very much if you didn’t find another market—people just thought it was insane or stupid. And when I say people, there were some visionary investors that invested very early. I believe in giving credit where credit is due—you have people like Founders Fund, Valor, VY, Steve Jurvetson from DFJ. You have people that really understood the long-term potential way before I did. But in 2019 it was extremely contrarian. Another thing was Elon at the time—Tesla when we first invested was about a $70 billion market cap company, a couple years after production hell—and the perception wasn’t what it is today. And for Starlink, basically every prior internet constellation had failed. And if I deserve credit for something, it’s that with my background in physics and communications I was able to understand that Starlink was actually going to work about a year before it was working, and to understand what questions to ask to underwrite that. There was this weird moment in time where people were assigning basically zero credit to Starlink because prior internet constellations had failed, and were assuming the launch market was not going to grow. And Starship was basically something people were assigning zero value to. There was a weird two-year period where it was underappreciated. Then after Starlink got to about a billion of revenue—which was very fast, about 12 months after their first dollar of revenue—they were at about a billion of run rate. I’d say at that point it became an extremely consensus investment. So there was this weird two-year period where you could buy a lot of shares where people didn’t get it, and now it’s like good luck finding shares—no one wants to sell. And I’m very excited for the IPO. It’s gonna be pretty incredible."

BREAKING: How Elon Builds Trillion-Dollar Companies Shaun Maguire (@shaunmmaguire), Partner at Sequoia: "I first invested in 2019.. cumulative invested probably $1.2 billion, & across all the different funds, that position's worth about $12 billion today.. in the $800 billion valuation. And so hopefully, in the IPO it's worth a lot more." Shaun & @sequoia have backed 5 of Elon's companies: SpaceX, xAI, Neuralink, The Boring Company, & X. This interview is a behind-the-scenes look inside Elon’s operating system — from one of the most technically fluent investors in Silicon Valley. This was so much fun, I hope you enjoy! Words can’t even describe how grateful I am for this community welcoming me with open arms. Watching this unfold in real time is going to be insane, as the world realizes just how wild of an opportunity this truly is for creators AND the viewers. $175K in just 24 hours for a creator is absolutely nuts.
