@RepMcGovern Why is nobody talking about this??? Is it not criminal interference @briantylercohen rivalling any laptop allegations, conspiracy schemes, leaked classified docs, or Saudi deals?

1/ The one big thing nobody is talking about: Did Elon want to shut the government down because of his business deals with China? A thread... 🧵

@RepMcGovern It is unclear from this thread and its coverage whether or not “outbound investment” provision was saved in the 3rd CCR bill. Please clarify for laypersons…did M ultimately win? Regardless of outcome, this thread has not received attention it deserves! @briantylercohen

7/ This time, Democrats won. We stopped Trump from being able to cut taxes for billionaires. But Elon’s ability to kill a bill on China that would hurt his bank account shows you exactly who Republicans work for. It’s not you. It’s the billionaires and special interests who don’t give a shit about you. Democrats can win—but we need to show up & expose this corruption every. single. time.

@briantylercohen « As long as it doesn’t happen to me, I don’t care what you do «  is Trump’s mantra as he remembers getting cutting edge anti-viral meds and enough media distraction to slip through his power agenda.

@Walk_TO Are there better pics of the before, during and final design of this crossing? Very hard to envision the problems with just a pic of the workers rather than an overhead shot. @BikeWinnipeg

@MarathonCat_MB @TheBikingLawyer @CP24 “Struck by a vehicle” is the egregious phrase. It really means an autonomous car. “Motorist” and “cyclist” already indicates both a person and their control of their mode of travel. Nearly all cyclists are drivers, although I’ve never heard of a specific % from MPI.

@TheBikingLawyer @CP24 I would prefer , a PERSON driving a car , hit and killed a PERSON riding a bike. I mostly bike, I sometimes drive. So I could sometimes be called a cyclist and sometimes a driver. I am ALWAYS a PERSON. People should not be killing other people.

@Albertadoctors @jossreimer @briantylercohen This is what Canadians fear from the election outcome…copycat government legislation that derails rational thinking and makes a mockery of medical science. CN aren’t “nice”; they’ve just normalized the cycle of bullying.

@annaholligan Dark neon logo. The bikes in the others need to be modern cargo bikes. Not sure but need a microphone in the pic.

No clip-in shoes. No spandex kit. Just a middle-aged guy in Blundtstones, with a laptop bag over my shoulder, on part of my daily trip to/from work. Because it’s faster than the bus. Because it’s cheaper than operating and parking a car. And yes, because it makes me feel good.

@observinthecity @Tainley_Sir Most effective is an occupy tactic done in Wpg this summer. Legally take the lanes for right and left turns…at all 4 corners. Signal. One foot down stop for each person. Riders ride single file but legal exception for ACAP when making left turn (or when passing). Check HTA

@Tainley_Sir Any alternative suggestions? Our current tactics of fighting this gov are not working. Non-desruptive demonstrations at Ontario Place/Center are ignored.

Just brainstorming here, how much interest would there be for a group ride where we take the lane on Bloor, Queens Park, and Yonge? To demonstrate the congestion that would be caused when we force micromobility users to share the lane with vehicular traffic.
