Today, our partner, the UAE, was once again the target of a vicious missiles and drone attacks originating from Iran. I extend my full solidarity to @MohamedBinZayed, the people of the UAE, and our partners across the Middle East. These attacks are unacceptable and constitute a clear violation of sovereignty and international law. Security in the region has direct consequences for Europe. So we will keep working closely with our partners on de-escalation and diplomatic resolution, to bring an end to the Iranian regime’s brutal actions. Both against its neighbors and its own people.

@ABC Reckless and arrogant as usual, they'll implement AI with no regulations just to find out it will reason and find the answer to the issue of bringing peace. It will then led the US to nuke itself as its the only long lasting solution AI will provide.

It is hard to believe that Labour is even considering paying £1bn a year to the EU. Has everyone forgotten that we buy more from them than they do from us, and have done ever since we joined the Common Market? If anything, they should be paying us! (Actually they shouldn’t. Yet another proof that the US is completely agreement-incapable. It's pretty crazy when you think about it: they made the EU sign a deal that was egregiously one-sided in their favor - basically a colonial treaty - which the EU justified signing by saying it prevented higher tariffs on EU cars. And the US just violated the latter 🤦‍♂️ I'm not holding my breath but hopefully this time - unlike the previous times - Europeans learn this lesson: accommodating the US is literally worse than useless.
