I agree. We need new Internet First versions of the Pulitzers, Oscars, Grammies, and Emmies. Along with new prizes for the best open source code. We could pay prizes in BTC daily. And pick grand prize winners annually. If this interests you, share mockups in the thread.

I personally hate award shows but I think there should be yearly @X awards. To truly replace the old guard we must create our own events for people to culturally align themselves with. X users vote for the winners. Best political use of X Best humanitarian use of X Best actor Best athlete Best content creator You get the idea. Do categories like that and stream it live. I guarantee it will have more viewers than the Oscars or Grammys. Do you like this idea and what categories do you personally want to see if it happened?
