@honestteacher72 @soph_the_loaf The college group I work for does..hence my reply. All the very best! (In my experience, students with his grade profile pass the November resit no problem- hope that can be of done comfort and encouragement. )

@honestteacher72 @soph_the_loaf He would have to resit language but def enter for the November resit and should be just fine. Still can start a level 3 qualification though. Good luck!

I’ve written to all @woodbrhigh parents today to set out our 2023-24 budget position. It is not good news. I urge all those who love our school to campaign for us. Without more money, I am worried that staffing cuts are coming. Young people, and ultimately society, will suffer.

@Gwenelope So, we were looking at a detail from Othello and we'd done the 'in other words' bit and selected which words were the most interesting ones. I prompted them to Turn and Talk with the instruction 'Use the word 'maybe' or 'perhaps' at the start of your conversation >

Targeted the use of “Maybe..” and “Perhaps..” today during T&T and whole class questioning. The use of tentative language made an immediate and noticeable difference to the quality and depth of answers.,
