I'm disabled and I live in a coach house which means in order to access my back garden i have to get down the stairs go out the front door and walk round to the back because I've no back access. I can't carry wet washing down the stairs to peg it out anymore there's just no physical way I can do it even though I'd prefer to dry it outside especially while the weather is nice. My tumble dryer is my lifeline. It's only a small coach house I literally don't have room to stand a clothes airer anywhere

@TypeForVictory I'm pretty sure a 10 year old could understand the (very significant) difference between a surgeon drinking at a social event where they will not be operating on people and a politician who is required to make decisions that impact the whole nation.

Senior doctors and surgeons often attend conferences, dinners, and networking events at which alcohol is served. This is 'drinking at work'. It's fine. Because I'm not 10, and can appreciate that different jobs (and tasks) have different safety requirements.

I'm currently in my kitchen having a chat with a friend who's selling both her rental properties, (a 3 bed semi detached in Torquay and a 3 bed detached bungalow in Paignton), as a DIRECT result of the new Renters legislation imposed by @UKLabour Yes, it's possible that someone may buy either or both properties in order to rent them out but it's rather unlikely. So 2 more good family homes will disappear from the rental market. Multiply by several thousand across the country and you have a MASSIVE problem - Thousands more homeless families. All caused by @UKLabour meddling in stuff they simply do not understand. Anyone with the slightest bit of knowledge about the housing market could have told them this would happen.
