This fantasy wherein middle aged men pretend women of all ages are clamouring for their attention is very amusing. Men chase women. You want us. It’s not the other way around. You are the lonely ones and the ignored ones. Instead of dealing with that by improving yourselves and your lives, you spend your energy trying to make women feel bad about themselves. Too bad. We don’t. I don’t compete with 25 year olds. I don’t compete with anyone. Women in their 40s and 50s are doing great. You guys are deluded.

It feels like we’re quietly pricing an entire generation out of one of life’s most meaningful experiences. A society that makes building loving, secure families this difficult is storing up massive problems for the future. Do you think we’re doing enough to make family formation realistic again?
