@MagnusFratus @1rstChaplain @poperespecter1 St. Jerome also doubted Revelations and Hebrews, are you going to ditch those books too? Later, he repealed his position on the Deuterocanon.

Baptists don't read seven books of the bible at all. Catholic read the whole thing.

Notice Baptists are the only group here that even attempt to use the Bible. I'll take it.

Having the Bible doesn't mean understanding it. The Catholic Church suppressed plain scriptural truth with traditions, papal authority, and a false gospel of works—that's why the Reformation was necessary to recover sola Scriptura and justification by faith alone. True believers have always been a faithful remnant submitting to God's Word, not Rome.

It is impossible to objectively read the Bible and come out Catholic.

I agree, read your bible. But that isn’t what that passage is about. 🤦♀️
In the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus teaches us to ask the Father: “Give us this day our daily bread.” (Matthew 6:11) But the Greek word translated as “daily” is epiousios, a word so unique it appears nowhere else in all of Greek literature. It is not the ordinary word for daily (hemeran or kathēmerinon), and even ancient scholars struggled to define it. Many early Church Fathers, including St. Jerome, St. Cyril of Jerusalem, and Origen, interpreted epiousios as meaning “supersubstantial,” something beyond earthly sustenance. St. Jerome, translating the Gospel into Latin, rendered it as panem supersubstantialem: the superessential or heavenly bread. This interpretation leads directly to the Eucharist. The petition in the Lord’s Prayer is not merely for physical food but for the Bread of Life, the true food that sustains the soul, Jesus Himself in the Eucharist.

@samma8383 @celinevmachine_ You're actually retarded, there was never slavery in Australia. Slavery was banned 19 years after the nation was founded under Slave Trade Act 1807 and Slavery Abolition Act 1833.
Stop buying into ABC nonsense.
