@Based_Scotsman I think what’s going on there is absolutely awful but it’s insane for anyone in the UK to think they fully understand the whole situation and have any influence to affect it. We have plenty of our own not insignificant problems to fix here in Scotland.

I couldn't care less about Israel or Palestine. It's an endless, ancient tribal blood feud with faults on both sides that outsiders have zero ability to fix. Picking teams and virtue-signaling from thousands of miles away is pure theater performative nonsense that solves nothing, distracts from real problems at home, and turns strangers into enemies over a conflict you'll never touch. Stay out of it. Focus on your own country.

@ACSPARTAN1 Why is this such a hard concept for people to accept without trying to label people as racist? Every country has its own values and rules. Everyone’s familiar with the term “When in Rome…” but asking people to apply it makes a person racist? I don’t think so.

A black male stopped in his car last Tuesday night at the Benburb in Drumoyne got out approached kids in a play pool in a garden put his hand in the water and said he wanted to see if the water was cold. He was politely told to go away Is this acceptable behaviour from anyone? If my kids were in that pool he would have been chinned. What part of this daily occurring behaviour is normal ??? Cultural differences are the root cause of all of today’s unease and frustration it’s got F all to do with colour race or ethnicity. We have values and rules. They should be respected.

@AngeM1888 And these are the same people who’ll call normal people fascist and Nazi scum for not swallowing the latest woke garbage they’re peddling. We really are living in a parallel universe.

So it now appears the tragic murder of Ann Widdecombe was political. How do you feel now @EdwardJDavey and many of @UKLabour who have spent the last few weeks posting vile things on here about @reformparty_uk? Because do you not think those words you have written have not influenced people who may want to harm those politicians? You all need to look inside yourselves because the public will be blaming the likes of you and those leftist journalists for your words could potentially have very serious consequences. dailymail.com/news/article-1…

@BasilTheGreat Fucked up people from Africa should not be moved to small European towns to prop up BlackRock asset prices. How do our political elite sleep at night?

@ggh1992 Because some Celtic fans don’t have the spine to call out what they see. When I see daft hun bastards on “the walk” I call them out as daft hun bastards. When I see dangerous unvetted immigrants sponging off the state I call them out too. It’s not that difficult.

@rgsneddon @PoliceScotland The ScotGov (c/w media & police) are desperate to portray concerns and protests as far right so that people from other demographics want nothing to do with it. They don’t want ordinary people of different political leanings uniting to tackle a class/criminality/safety issue.

@cautiousdave @PoliceScotland Yeah, i'm similar minded to the word 'activist'. Political activism involves a level.of sycophantic behaviour which is a turn off.

David Kennedy of the Scottish Police Federation leaves absolutely no doubt in the mind where people in the UK sit in the @PoliceScotland two tier justice system. 'People not from the city' are angry, as 'people not from the country' rape our women and girls on an unprecedented scale. Guess who he depicts as the bad ones..?

@rgsneddon @PoliceScotland My ownly issue with that is the language “patriots” will be off putting to some. I appreciate a patriot is someone who loves their country but the term is being used as a weapon by “bad actors” to make it a right wing movement. I’m not and never will be RW so has to be wider.

The 1977 Scottish cup final was the first to be shown live on TV in many years. Over 70,000 tickets were sold but bad weather cut the attendance to 54,252. The game was decided by a handball by Derek Johnstone, one he denies to this day but the camera never lies.

@Russell0123456 @ZackPolanski And the first things that would be cut is benefits and public sector jobs. Which ironically is where the Greens draw their support from.

Labour plans to withhold benefits to people who have been granted Indefinite Leave to Remain. Performative cruelty and total cowardice. That’s why the Greens will replace Labour.
Steven Swinford@Steven_Swinford

Exclusive from @matt_dathan The Home Office has drawn up plans to relax immigration reforms in a bid to address the concerns of Labour MPs Under a compromise up to 1.6 million migrants could be granted indefinite leave to remain after five years instead of ten — but they would face waiting longer to qualify for benefits The group known as the Boriswave after the boom in immigration under Boris Johnson would be exempted from Mahmood's migration reforms but have to wait longer before accessing benefits such as UC, disability payments, council tax reduction, tax credits and state pension credits A source said: “What it boils down to is benefits. You would allow them to get ILR after five years but you don’t allow them to claim benefits until three or four years later.” They said “most people don’t come here so they can claim benefits”, but the idea that they can do so “as soon as they get ILR” was “politically damaging”. thetimes.com/uk/politics/ar…
