@ChKlaue @UN SDG4 - important to consider and provide sign language interpreters for deaf/hard of hearing people in sport - this is often ignored or forgotten.

📌 Permanent Observer – this is the status of the IOC at the United Nations @UN since 2009. As a Permanent Observer, the IOC has the opportunity to get directly involved in the UN Agenda and to attend UN General Assembly meetings where it can take the floor, thus providing the possibility to promote sport to all 193 UN Member States. 🔹This opportunity will arise from today on again, when the world leaders convene in New York for the #SummitOfTheFuture to define the best direction for the world and will discuss the Pact for the Future. @florianklenk Ich hoffe, dass mehr Artikel über Gebärdensprache, Deaflympics / Deaf Sport und gehörlose Persönlichkeiten, Barrieren (wie aktuell mit der Katastrophe Hochwasser - ORF übertragt wichtige Infos nicht mit fix eingeblendeten Untertitel & ÖGS Dolm.) im Falter vorkommen.

Das war gestern eine sehr fein organisierte Lesung bei Petra Hartlieb. Wegen des großen Interesses übersiedelten wir ins Amtshaus Währing. Auch Gehörlose konnten dem Buch über die Wiener Gerichtsmedizin folgen. Morgen Donnerstag bin ich bei der Buchhandlung Heyn in Klagenfurt.
