Three and a half years after the death of my husband, I'm struggling with burnout. I've kept going and held it together through some horrible times but I'm now off work resting. What has helped is talking to friends and a counsellor. It's #timetotalk day so I thought I'd share.

#JoinIn My Mum died 2.5 weeks ago, was her funeral on Thursday, now I'm off auto pilot... I'm struggling. She did my fucking head in but I'm missing her a lot. Maybe a bit of Stockholm syndrome as we had an odd relationship but yeah... Sucks.

@refugeingrief I'm so glad I found you in my deepest grief when my darling husband Ian died. Three years on and I still miss him so much. Your wisdom continues to help.

@Iam_ladyinred Same here. Dad's birthday and late husband's birthday. Father's Day - difficult for my children and me. My husbands death anniversary the day after his birthday.

And so begins the worst month of the year, starts with my late husbands birthday today, ends with the anniversary of him dying and we have Father’s Day in between. My wish for June is to remember the good times and end the month still smiling ❤️
