@porkytheking @LysanderTheLion I mean same, but they don't care that you don't like it, they're still going to turn against you because you're gay. They don't like gay people, no matter how many times they say "if you're a normal gay we don't care" while screaming that being gay is wrong and should be banned.

@joshnaa2gez did you choose to feel romantic and sexual attraction to the opposite sex? Why should someone deny those feelings for the same sex that are mutually shared because of a religious choice you've made?

LGBT is the only category where society thinks a predisposition negates your ability to make choices.

@cb4136 @MikeCanning7 @joshnaa2gez Which part? That a straight man having sex with a gay man wouldnt prove anything and is dismissable? That a gay man can choose a straight marriage? That one can choose not to be defined by their sexuality?

There would be 0 benefit to having sex with a man because it produces nothing. So there’s actually no reason for me to go against my natural inclination to have sex with women. But, you know what is unnatural for almost all men? Monogamy. Do you really think it’s natural for a man to have sex with only one woman for the rest of his life? Of course, it’s not. But, guess what… monogamy is good for me, good for my wife, good for my children, and good for society. I choose to live a monogamous life. It’s unnatural. And it is also good.
Ark@MikeCanning7

@joshnaa2gez Why don't you have sex with a guy first just to show us how easy it is to flip that switch.

Science shows the same thing about lots of attitudes and behaviors, including political leanings, religiosity, criminality and violence, intelligence, etc. Yet, we do not argue people have no choice in these regards. Why would we treat homosexuality differently? Why would we apply a unique standard to homosexual attraction and say that a predisposition removes choice? Especially when the genetic component influencing sexual orientation is weaker than it is in the above traits I mentioned?
John@johnstribe

Here we go. The ole “no gene” comment. Well, science shows sexual orientation is a complex, mostly involuntary trait influenced by biology and early development. It’s not a conscious “choice,” and not caused by abuse. Major professional bodies (like the American Psychological Association) state that sexual orientation is not a choice and cannot be changed at will. They describe orientation as emerging early in life from a “complex interaction of environmental, cognitive and biological factors,” with evidence that genetics and prenatal hormones play a significant role. Large genetic and twin studies show there is no single “gay gene,” but many genes each contribute a small effect (polygenic), similar to traits like height or personality. Identical twins are much more likely to share a sexual orientation than non-identical siblings, which is strong evidence of genetic influence, but not 100%, which shows non-genetic biological and developmental factors also matter. So the argument “there is no gay gene, therefore it’s a choice” is just bad logic: most human traits don’t come from a single gene, and yet they’re still not choices (eye color, left-handedness, etc.). Believe what you want;you’re going to anyway. That’s called bigotry.

@MikeCanning7 @joshnaa2gez Doubt it, because it can easily be dismissed as bi. It takes a brave Gay man to have a straight marriage, switch or no, because he chooses to value it and because sexuality does not dictate his life choices.

Here’s a practical reason to oppose normalizing homosexuality- not based in religion or ideology: 1. Most men are highly motivated by sex and heterosexual monogamy does not fit their natural instincts. Without social conditioning, most would be polyamorous, and many would be fine with having sex with either gender. 2. Women have much more at stake when having sex, and thus, when they live in a society that respects their autonomy, they are very choosey about their sexual partners. 3. When women are allowed to choose their sexual partners, they tend to choose mature men for long-term partnership. Because women are physically more vulnerable- especially when bearing and raising babies- they tend to choose long term mating partners who are (a) competent enough to provide, (b) dangerous enough to keep the wolves and barbarians away, and (c) compassionate enough to care for them and their children. 4. This sexual selection encourages boys to grow up and become mature, competent men. ANYTHING that disrupts this sexual selection process is detrimental to society. That includes: - Pornography -Birth control - Abortion -Prostitution -Rape -Treating women like property with no right to choose their sexual partners (cough cough… Islamic countries) And, yes, homosexuality as well. Anything that allows men to satisfy their sexual urges without meeting a woman’s needs first is bad for society, bad for women, bad for children, and bad for men. If men can just have sex with other horny men, thy never have to mature. They never have to curb their instincts and behave like gentlemen. “Gay” men can act as feminine as they want, but they’re still dudes. And they are missing the opportunity to connect with a female and allow her to balance their masculine energy with her feminine energy. Look back at the literature. There’s a clear pattern… Societies who forego sexual standards immediately begin to decline. They waste their time engaging in self gratification and become unproductive. Within 3 generations they become totally inert and are taken over by a stronger culture. It happens every time. And notice… we are about 3 generations away from the sexual revolution of the 1960’s.

"Gay marriage" is an abomination, by the way, and should be outlawed everywhere. The experiment has been run, with disastrous results. We don't need to theorize any longer about what happens when a society tries this at scale. We're living through it.

The percentage of Republicans who believe that gay and lesbian relationships are morally acceptable has plummeted from over 50% in 2022 to 35% just four years later. GOP support is now at its lowest level since 2011. I think we all know why this is happening. The “I personally disagree, but adults can do what they want” mindset we all adopted over the last 10 years ended up blowing up in our faces. There is no such thing as a stable equilibrium that emerges if we just chant the Progressive incantations that “love is love” alongside our fellow libtards. We thought that after Obergefell that this messy “social issue” would be put behind us. It was too much of a distraction. Don’t you know that we need to be talking about debt and taxes? But the exact opposite ended up happening. Accepting gay marriage didn’t temper the Left’s appetite for eternal revolution, it emboldened these people. They immediately started trying to normalize transgenderism and turn “Pride Month” into the new Progressive Ramadan from which there was no opting out. The Biden administration marked essentially the culmination of this cultural revolution. At that point, it became obvious to the Right that the “culture wars” weren’t a distraction. They were THE issue that would only continue to ratchet up and agitate for yet more power and wealth to be redistributed to the Left’s various client groups in the name of diversity, equity, inclusion, tolerance, and progress.

@JRd79_ @JoelMCurzon being gay will never be "normal" to them, every gay person is lumped into the same category - satantic, demonic, degenerate. It is only a matter of time before the right turns on the gays that they've been "tolerating" until now.

When you stop disowning your sons and daughters simply for being gay, we will no longer need Pride. When you stop making your gay family members feel unwanted and unworthy of love, we will no longer need Pride. When LGBTQ youth are no longer forced into homelessness due to family rejection, abuse and discrimination, we will no longer need Pride (30-40% of homeless youth are LGBTQ). When you stop REPEATEDLY telling us how much God hates gay people, we will no longer need Pride. When pastors stop obsessing over gay people and start cleaning up their own fucking house (because we're all getting tired of the sex scandals and abuse headlines), we will no longer need Pride. When gay youth stop taking their own lives after being bullied, rejected, and dehumanized, we will no longer need Pride. When our representatives stop threatening to take away our rights, we will no longer need Pride. When you stop clutching your pearls and feigning outrage over Pride Month while ignoring the damage done to generations of LGBTQ people, we will no longer need Pride. Pride Month is a reminder to every LGBTQ person who has ever been rejected by family, shamed by religion, bullied by peers, or made to feel unworthy of love that they are not alone, that they are loved... and that they belong. If you want Pride Month to end, stop giving people reasons to need it. Until then, Happy Pride Month to all my LGBTQ brothers and sisters!

@ACC77277 @ryan_buell I'm not in a cult and never have been. I just don't want others to use lawfare against me because they're uncomfortable with something that doesn't affect their life. You can be tired of it all you want, but gay people don't stop existing.

@ACC77277 @ryan_buell you do really seem to care because you said you'd prefer to go back to when anti-sodomy laws were on the books. Not caring would be to say "I don't care and I'm not going to pay attention" not "things were better when we outlawed that"

Homosexual's may be adopting babies, and it may seem hopeless for the children that will grow up in these homes, but here is the 100% truth. If this continues, when these children grow up, they will have the ability to read the Bible. And you know what? God's word is sharper than any two-edged sword. It pierces to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and it discerns the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4: 12 When God removes the scales from the children who were deceived, the truth will be known, and the lies of those claiming that you can be a homosexual Christian will be exposed. God warned us that the world would grow darker in the last days, that many would reject the truth. They will call good evil, and evil good. We are here. Even when it is clearly written, "Do not be deceived", "nor homosexuals", "will inherit the kingdom of God", they reject it, because they reject Christ. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Pride is sin. Homosexuality is sin. Unless homosexuals are born again, and repent from their sins, they will not inherit the kingdom of God. This goes for those celebrating and supporting pride month and everything it stands for as well. If you want eternal life, you must repent and trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. Those who wish to continue in their sins will spend eternity in the lake of fire. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
