I will have been an RFCC chair for ten years by August 2024, and it is time to pass the chair of the Thames RFCC to worthy successor. Is that you? I look back at a very rewarding time in the role, having played my part in reducing the risk of flooding for many people.

The heat had made the ground exceptionally hard so if you do experience rain it’s likely to run off to the easiest place. This could lead to surface water flooding.
