The news that 47K firearms have been declared brings the cost incurred by the taxpayer to ~$22,000 per firearm, with basically none of the declared firearms having yet been confiscated nor destroyed.
Public Safety Canada@Safety_Canada

After two months of the Assault-Style Firearms Compensation Program for individuals, more than 47,000 prohibited firearms have been declared across Canada. Deadline to submit your declaration is March 31. See the provincial and territorial breakdown here: canada.ca/en/public-safe…

Mark Carney has the authority to repeal the tanker ban, C-69, the industrial carbon tax, methane regulations, and net-zero electricity rules. But he won’t. That tells you everything about this government’s priorities. These policies continue to block investment, cost jobs, and weaken the economic future of our families and communities. Alberta independence offers a path to restore control, remove these barriers, and build a stable, prosperous future.

What's the case for new pipelines? New report finds $31B economic lift — & 112,000 jobs – for Canada from new oil pipelines “I can’t think of anything else that would give such a large jolt to the CDN economy over a 10-yr period,” says ATB's Mark Parsons. calgaryherald.com/opinion/column…

📢If Canada wants pipelines built across the border If we want a deal scrapping tariffs (trade taxes) Then speaking to Joe Rogan's huge audience that includes the White House is wise CBC has tiny ratings, yet we are forced to pay $1.4 billion while they freak out about Rogan

If these rifles are being delivered as pictured, with an LPVO, red dot, and most importantly (and impressively), the multifunction muzzle device from @MillbrookT Strategic Sciences, these rifles are going to make a discernible change in the capabilities of Canadian soldiers.
LGen Michael Wright, CCA/CAC@Army_Comd_Armee

Today's announcement is a win for Canada and the Canadian Armed Forces. Rifles remain foundational to soldier effectiveness in the field, and this development brings over 40 years of technology evolution to Canada's fighting forces. 1/3
