Ottawa, how we vote on Monday says so much about us as a city: the experience we value, the candidates we trust, the issues we deem urgent. I so, so hope to wake up Tuesday proud of the direction we’ve chosen for our city, + the leader we’ve entrusted to get us there. 💜

As a resident, this campaign couldn’t have been more frustrating. We saw one frontrunner mount a campaign premised on politics of opposition, criticizing “divisiveness” while relying on ideological + geographic divisions to garner support. And then there was Catherine.

I’m voting for @cmckenney on Monday. 🗳 My politics are underpinned by hope, optimism, + a belief that a more just + joyful future is possible. I want a leader with a vision for a better city, + the skills and experience to make this a reality. Catherine has this, in spades.
