Chicago media is getting justifiably pummeled for its handling of the execution of Loyola Univ freshman Sheridan Gorman by an illegal Venezuelan. The Sun-Times "she had it coming" headline prompted nationwide condemnation for victim-blaming. And today is the FIRST day the that Gorman's murder, which happened on March 19, made the front page of the Chicago Tribune. And one can only assume the Trib finally gave the heinous crime the attention it deserves after much public backlash over the past several days. Shameful and inexcusable coverup by local media:

One of the issues with the Chicago lakefront and it’s adjacent park land is that our government officials have allowed migrants and the homeless to pitch tents along it. It has made the lakefront and parks dirty and unsafe in certain area.
