@RobProvince Yes they don't realize how much higher the standard of living is in the US. They'll use healthcare, which no one can be denied in the US, as an own. Failing to realize or unwilling to that the US is where people go when they want the best and where most breakthroughs come from

@HMBohemond How about not building towns where tornados happen so usually that you get used to them, inbred?

I think the ultimate arrogance of ignorant Europeans is assuming they're so much better since "we have tornadoes too!" when they get an F4 once in a blue moon. Meanwhile Americans are so used to F5s and higher that destroy entire towns that we'll sit outside and grill while they blow through. A whole arena of meteorology arose from Americans who chased after tornadoes in cars for fun. We're accustomed to the middle part of our country being a storm torn death world.

@JonSlipperyVass @buttstuffswrong @84_wintermute @HMBohemond Where are these homes that hold up to a T10\EF5 storms? If it wasn't hard and "common" in a lot of the world: A. How many other places get these type of storms as commonly as the US? B. Why do you think it's not done in Europe or the States

@JonSlipperyVass @buttstuffswrong @84_wintermute @HMBohemond No, it's the fact it doesn't matter. European houses might stand up "better" but they'll still be destroyed by a major tornado. There are actually plenty of cases in Europe of T9s and above wrecking homes in Europe. Do you really not understand the power of these storms?

@TheHooterBear @HMBohemond I think the avg European and even American likely has no idea the power of winds at 220mph+ speed. Particularly when it's violently shifting and changing direction.

@HMBohemond I was in Joplin the day after their big tornado. It looked like a fucking nuclear bomb went off. Everything was leveled to the ground as far as you could see, cars piled up where they’d been thrown by the wind. It was apocalyptic.

@84_wintermute @HMBohemond Has it been hit by an EF4 tornado? The EF5 that hit Joplin moved and twisted a hospital, a huge building to the point it had to be torn down. This is a dumb debate. Nothing above ground isn't going to take massive damage/be destroyed by the EF4+ storm.

Trump betrayed a decent, honorable man who had a 99.2 percent record of supporting him in the U.S. Senate. He destroyed the career of U.S. Senator Cornyn to elevate a dishonest, impeached and corrupt crook named Ken Paxton. (Google him. This guy is terrible.) When the President of the United States happily backs a bad man and throws a good man overboard, it sends a horrible message to the next generation. This president continues to do moral and ethical damage to the nation that will be hard to undo. Not surprised. But still disappointed in where GOP voters are.
