@Jenny_1884 Used to send 50+. Now don’t send any. Postage cost ridiculous. Donate to charity instead. And send 4 or 5 ‘newsy’ cards in the New Year - when I have more time to write
Amazing news for ex- postmaster 92 year old Betty Brown - FINALLY she has been awarded close to 100% of financial redress after losing £50k thro Post Office Horizon IT scandal
We’ve followed her story on #Newsnight & she wanted to be live on the show tonight so that’s what’s happening :)
@DreyfusJames Hope you are ok. My 84 year old Dad had an echocardiogram 6 weeks ago. He was given a number to call for the results. He called. Turns out results are taking 4 months!
Had a chest X-ray yesterday.
Just had a call from my GP’s department saying they want to see me on Tuesday morning.
Then they called back & said actually my doctor would like to speak to on the phone me later today…
Ug.
I like my news, good or bad, delivered fresh…
I ran out of Ryan's cereal, its swear there was another box, but couldn't find it, so I gave Ryan some of my Muesli instead, the look I got, he was just glaring at it in disbelief then glaring at me, he did eat it ,I asked him if was OK and he replied I "liked the horse food" i think i better buy him his cereal today. 🐎
@nextofficial This is the 2nd time one of your bulbs has sheered off in one of your light fittings, meaning g we’ve had to get pliers to get it out. Really poor quality and potentially dangerous
@Jenny_1884 What’s actually sad about this post is the jealousy from some , those supposed free cars help take loved ones to appointments to day centres to family because they cannot use public transport it gives them dignity and safety . The British tax payer is also people who recieve FACT
@nsandi shocking service from you in trying to access funds in my disabled sons account. Complete discrimination against disabled people who do not have the mental capacity to run their own bank account. @MartinSLewis@mpmwilko

I tweeted the other day how I've already booked our holiday for next summer, I've just rang je2 to book special assistance before I forget, they were absolutely fantastic not only have they booked special assistance there and back at tge airport and on the airplane but they also asked what help Ryan requires at the hotel and have sent a email confirming it all, the lady on the phone was absolutely fantastic and it was great to actually speak to a person, its 10 months away, but im already excited.
Last night, when Ryan's taxi driver dropped him off, he asked ryan what he was doing today. ryan replied cinema then mcdonald's, can I come to mcdonald's the driver asked , ryan looks at him and says "no thankyou" the driver bursts out laughing, I think Ryan thought he was going to eat his burger 🍔
@ZiaYusufUK The “Blue Badge” permits are also being abused. I’ve seen so called “motability” cars such as Audi’s and Porsche’s parked outside pubs with such a permit being in the screen.
1 in 5 cars sold in the UK are paid for by the taxpayer through the Motability program, including BMWs and Audis.
There’s no means testing, so households with six figure incomes are getting luxury coupes on the taxpayer’s dime.
Over half of the recipients of the free cars have never had a medical exam to assess eligibility.
If it’s the government’s position that everyone in the UK should get a free car, then they should be honest and give one to everyone.
As things stand, the system is totally rigged against those who play by the rules.
