@tom_karnes A4) Consulting with my colleagues to learn what works best for them would be my number 1 option. The internet is also a great source to search for resources and find out how they work. I would test the waters and figure out what works for me. @Duncannedd #CSUBTED #EDTE4200

@tom_karnes A4) When I have questions about technology I ask the teacher that I work with, I would recommend asking teachers with experience that can guide you in the right direction. They can tell you what might work best, and asking your students for their input. #csubted @dreddiesclass

@Ststansberry One technological tool I have seen used in the classroom to help the success of multilingual learners is Rosetta Stone. It has activities where students can learn English by audio, visuals and speaking in the program. #EDTE4200 #CSUBTED @DrEddiesClass

@DrEddiesClass @Ststansberry I did not think about Flip, but it would be a good resource because you can listen to your recordings various times. It would give the students the opportunity to practice on their pronunciation. #csubted @dreddiesclass

@Ststansberry 1) I highly encourage using Flip to give students opportunities to practice speaking and listening. You can structure prompts that are scaffolded for learners at different levels. Flip gives them a safe space to practice and share. #csubted

@Ststansberry A3) A tool that can be useful would be google translate because that can be a way to communicate between the teacher and student. Using a computer for google translate would also give them an opportunity to practice their typing skills. . #csubted @dreddiesclass

@doctor2pi One technology resource I would recommend is the use of remind 101. As a student in high school I loved the use of this & reminders, to bring certain materials, etc, kept me up to date. This works well & could be tied to the students/parents phone. #CSUBTED #EDTE4200 @doctor2pi

@doctor2pi A2) I would recommend Zoom because it is a free resource that everyone can access. Parents and students can find it easy to navigate. Zoom can be used to communicate with teachers, and during the pandemic Zoom was used for majority of the schools. #csubted @dreddiesclass
