Tesla Robotaxi Day 13 (Houston)
This is the third unsupervised vehicle coming to me on April 30th. In the lot, 5 (1,2,3,4, FIVE) badged vehicles in wait. (3 Black/2 Red)
I know I’ve bought a lot of puts on $TSLA recently and sold tons of covered calls.
But man…… every time I use FSD I think I may not own enough.
It’s so awesome.
It never gets tired, distracted or lazy.
Just works.
Did some “research” to see if I could get a new @robotaxi fleet vehicle in Dallas today. Ended up in one of the known 2, but pulled up on a test vehicle with manufacturers plates who seemed to be on the same path as ours
@scotsrule08@cddeardurff@Avrideai The one Chris spotted isn’t the typical Zoox car, but rather a vehicle with the same LiDAR and sensor setup. I think it had a Zoox logo, but I’m not sure.
Our first @Avrideai ride in Dallas today! What a cool experience. Even though it was supervised, our supervisor Spencer was kind!
Pros:
•Safe and enjoyable ride
•Good pickup and drop off
•Flashing red light behavior
Cons:
•No access to the passenger seat so three grown men had to squeeze in the back
•No access to control the music or temperature
•No dedicated app so it was luck of the draw using the Uber app
With @durai_ashwin08 & @TexasTSLA@AmineTX you just barely missed it!
I’ve seen the largest number of Tesla @robotaxi test vehicles ever by this time of the day in Dallas today, eight or so spotted so far. It’s not too late to introduce new fleet members this weekend.
@cddeardurff@Waymo Oh, it doesn't cover Deep Ellum? I'll go downtown then to the AT&T District and have a beer there, and if no Robotaxi is available, I'll just hop on the trolley on the way back lol
To all of those who heard me complain over and over like a broken record
your liberation day has come.
No more complaints. The network is officially open to the public.
