@cdepolack @MarkJGolding A national bus pass for students should be introduced at the earliest date. This ought not to be means tested but bases on need to get to school. Let's take the politics out of the one. Education is the most important thing parents can give to their children.

The teachers are saying that there is a 15% drop in students attending schools since face to face resumed. Parents especially those in the rural areas are finding it difficult to find the fare and lunch. The next PNP government led by @MarkJGolding will change that.

If the objective of a student loan debt cancellation is relief for the poor, then a more effective way to achieve that objective is to use that same money to distribute to the actual poorest, thru the PATH programme. As a class, those with university degrees are not the poorest.
