@SOrangeJuice Pirates have been linked to C's Christian Fermin, Melian Martinez, Conrad Luczynski. Having a 3-headed center rotation is valuable, so coming away with all of them - or Centers of similar ilk - is on the wish list. At PF, hopeful for Ladarius Givan to challenge Nathan Mariano.

@BigBlueInter What has me most excited is the depth on this team is starting to build. Injuries are inevitable, and it's bitten the Giants more than most teams in recent years. The young talent on this roster is promising and each position has healthy camp competition.

OBJ is likely coming home. In honor of his return, I'm emptying the vault of Odell Beckham Jr videos. Here's a classic. Shoutout to those of you who know what inspired this! #NYGIANTS

Joe Schoen said Giants will revisit the veteran defensive linemen discussion this week, see where things stand with D.J. Reader and others. May also have a couple more visits with guys who have not been here yet.

@DanSchneierNFL Fields and Likely are big targets for Dart. I remember you and Nick saying on tape how impressive Dart is at layering the football over the defense. Makes it even more dangerous with big targets down the field. Can't wait to see how he fits in.

Another reason Fields is growing on me is that even if they don’t use him as the Rashee Rice power slot I think about all the times Dart processed 1-on1s outside the numbers to Humphrey, Slayton, etc last year. Fields can win in those spots at catch point at a better rate.

@SOrangeJuice Diverse skills in the backcourt and for three guard lineups. I'll be curious to see who he can bring in to play the 4 and 5. Of the list you have, I'm intrigued by Jerald Colonel and Okku Federiko. Of course we've seen players commit that had no public visits reported. We'll see.

Shaheen Holloway's new look backcourt is likely complete following the addition of SG Kareem Thomas and the return of G Trey Parker. With the portal now closed, Seton Hall's focus turns to building out their front court, while bringing in additional shooters/wings. Updates 👇

@DanSchneierNFL I'm fully behind the approach to add 2-3 veteran DTs for the 2026 season and use the draft to build elsewhere. A DT rotation of DJ Reader and Shelby Harris (pre-draft visits), Calais Campbell (Balt. connection), Darius Alexander, and Roy Robertson-Harris is more than sufficient.

That’s because there isn’t. Not even close. The Giants have some options at 37 I like but won’t my first choice (I want one of the guards likely to be there). I have three sleeper DTs I like to kick off Day 3. But reality is: Reader is a MUST sign. Plus Calais OR Shelby Harris.
Art Stapleton@art_stapleton

Talking to people last night in the aftermath of the Dexter Lawrence trade: Giants don't see immediate impact defensive linemen in this draft class. There are good players, but no one that is going to change the room the moment you turn in that card. Bengals told you that, too.

While Seton Hall was wrapping up a commitment from a familiar target in PG Del Jones, they were also linked to a PF that they previously targeted last offseason. With front court additions now taking priority, the Pirates may not be done adding to PG depth. Portal updates 👇

@Ourlads_Sy @drewsg1 I agree. Might as well add Shelby Harris too. And I’m hopeful Darius Alexander takes a big jump in year two. He showed flashes as the year went on. Big transition from Toledo to the NFL.

@metr0williamson @SOrangeJuice Sounds good, Stephon Payne is 6'9 235, and Najai Hines is 6'11 255. Doesn't really matter here on Twitter. But they're not recruiting Will Sydnor - which is how this conversation started - to play Center. That's not his skillset. He's a slashing wing that can score and defend.

@cdes713 @SOrangeJuice Our starting center this past season was literally 6’8, 210. And our PF was 6’6 190. Not sure what you’ve seen from Sha to suggest we are recruiting a big man to play small forward.

@Schmeelk I agree with this, as Atlanta has two athletic defenders in NAW and Dyson Daniels they can rotate on Brunson. Towns needs to have a big series to offset the attention to Brunson.

@art_stapleton And after seeing what NYJ got for Quinnen, a similar trade with a team like CHI for Dex would have the Giants receiving 2026 2nd, 2027 1st, DT Gervon Dexter Sr. Scenario I'd like 9 Mansoor Delane 29 Kayden McDonald 50 Jacob Rodriguez 74 Keylan Rutledge 105 Demond Claiborne

That's not outrageous. As you said, the return would be everything. How's this? NYG get: No. 9, No. 29, No. 74 KC gets: No. 5, No. 37 So basically KC moves up four spots in 1st, Giants move up seven spots from 2nd to 1st, and then get a third-round pick. Would you do that?
Chad1906@Chad1906

@art_stapleton I think they are trading pick 5 to KC. I just hope the return is good

With day two of the portal in the books, Seton Hall continued reaching out to undersized point guards, while also making their first known contact to a pair of forwards; a wing from the Big East and a power forward from Lithuania who played his freshman season at UT Martin.
