GM - It is Day 10 of US-Israeli War on Iran and while the situation remains fluid and chaotic the indisputable facts emerging are concussive for the Trump White House (WH), the Epstein Class and Greater Israel. Let’s highlight the most important takeaways so far: A regional war has begun: countless Western analysts and especially former US Military (USM) types like General Jack Keane asserted (polemicized) that Iran’s government was feeble, fractured and isolated. Certainly, Trump, the Pentagon, CIA and Mossad believed Iran was a Jenga tower that would collapse in 48-72 hours under heavy US-Israeli bombing. Unfortunately, while some warned that Iran would fight back like a wounded animal the vast majority of Americans, Israelis and perhaps millions more are shell shocked. The WH jumped on a proximity mine and blew up what was left of the Rules Based Order along with it. The Gulf is on fire: In Iraq, from the Al-Bu’aitha area of Baghdad to the port of Khor al-Zubair, airports, oil tankers, and US outposts have come under drone, missile or ground attack. In Bahrain, Iranian missiles hit a state-run oil refinery and the Bahrain Defense Force claims it has repulsed 75 missiles and 125 drones; how many more can they stop? In Qatar, at least 14 ballistic missiles and four drones have been launched from Iran and more are coming. In UAE, Dubai airport and Abu Dhabi have beed struck, leaving tens of thousands ex-patriots and foreign nationals stuck in country. Tehran is being flattened: Bombing in Tehran (plus Shiraz, Qom, Isfahan and Kermanshah) is intensifying and US-Israeli strikes are targeting oil assets like Shahran oil depot on the outskirts of Tehran. However, according to the National Intelligence Council (NIC), bombing Iran will not bring down the regime. USM bases are overwhelmed: US bases across the region including: Bahrain (USN 5th Fleet), Kuwait (Camp Arifjan and Ali Al Salem Air Base), Qatar (Al Udeid Air Base), Iraq (Victoria) and Syria (Kharab al Jir, Patrol Base Shaddadi, and Rumalyn Landing Zone) have been damaged or destroyed. Simultaneously, US Embassies in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the US Consulate in Dubai are under fire. Iranian Shia militias operating eponymously under “Islamic Resistance of Iraq” have stepped up attacks on US bases in Syria and Iraq. USM air bases are breaking down: Satellite imagery indicates SATCOM terminals have been blown up, radar domes and satellite dishes are smashed. Missile tracking infrastructure like the AN/TPY-2 radar systems - a “central nervous system” that synchronizes Patriot and THAAD batteries across the region is reportedly out-of-commission. Such a target package confirms Iran is technologically sophisticated, prepared, and strategic. Iran is pulverizing Israel: Preliminary reports suggest that the Iron Dome - Israel’s renowned state-of-the-art air defense shield - is failing. Some videos showing explosions in Haifa, Tel Aviv, and beyond are circulating, though almost certainly most are being suppressed by Western media. Regardless, the “missile math” suggests Iran’s vast inventory of missiles and drones presents an economy of military scale US-industry cannot pace. Israel is in chaos: Anecdotal (heretofore unsubstantiated) reports indicate widespread distrust, paranoia and fear has gripped Israelis across the country. Under a hellfire of Iranian missiles that may have destroyed as many as 200 buildings, according to Jamie Mcintyre, “the situation is pointing toward organized civil disobedience and a breakdown of military discipline.” Trump’s decision tree is binary: There is feuding between SecDef Hegseth and SecState Rubio over deployment of ground forces to Iran, a decision with severe strategic implications. The real choice however, lays between escalation and withdrawal. My guess is that Trump has chosen exit by escalation. Ironically, what began as Operation Epic Fury has become Operation Rescue Epstein Class as the Trump Presidency and the State of Israel find themselves on the brink. What is the strategic situation?: Let’s be candid, America and Israel have ignited a war they cannot win. Remember, air and naval power cannot defeat strong land powers operating from robust, dug-in defensive positions, especially without capable ground support. So far we have every indication that China and Russia will stay the course on Iran’s side. It seems Iran is firmly in control of the escalatory ladder, slowly increasing the sophistication of precision strike packages against flailing US-Israeli forces and proxies. What is the military situation?: Iran’s military success also demonstrates warfare has changed. Iran’s array of precision strike missiles, drones, and decentralized command centers has flummoxed the US military. America’s carrier strike groups and 5th generation fighters are losing a war of economy, battle-space, and strategy tailor made for Iran. One force is large, bulky, expensive and inflexible, the other is small, decentralized, cheap, and antifragile. What does this mean for the world economy?: In a word, crisis: Asia is staring at an energy crisis. China (5M BPD) may confront the same in 6 months or so if this conflict rages on. Indeed, Asia is the most dependent region in the world on Middle Eastern oil. Western Europe is entering an economic storm. Since the war in Ukraine Europe has been umbilically tied to energy imports from the Middle East. As a result, UK natural gas prices have risen 70%+, EU heating oil is up 40%, and European gas prices nearly doubled since the war began. Add this to an already combustible social-political situation and you can see smoke clouds billowing. US is headed for a recession. A surge in oil prices has preceded the last few recessions and this time will be the same. It could be worse than recession because Wall Street is also in the early stages of a private credit crisis, Americans are suffering a job apocalypse, and the stock market is wobbly. What this means for the United States: The world is watching the end of the US military dominance in real-time. Key supply chains like the Straits of Hormuz (potentially, the Red Sea and Suez Canal) is closed and the US navy is powerless to reopen it. Key US allies in the Gulf are under duress and the USM is powerless to defend them. Key global energy infrastructure (LNG / Oil / fertilizers) is being destroyed piece-meal and the US is powerless to contain the damage. Israel, the driving force behind US foreign policy for decades is being reduced to rubble, and the US is powerless to save it. This is a compound global fracture: The core competencies that have defined global power dynamics since WWII are sunsetting quickly: 1. The vaunted USM’s reign as “the greatest military in the world” 2. The US economy’s reign as the most indispensable in the world 3. The dollar’s reign as world reserve currency Beneath the macro, the Jewish-dominated banking cartel centered in London and New York City, is also finished. GM - The situation in the ME is deteriorating quickly and White House (WH) chaos is being unmasked. As things escalate out-of-control across the Gulf, it is becoming clearer by the day that no planning, no forward thinking was put in place to protect US personnel and forces on the ground, never mind US allies. Obviously, the absence of any definable Endstate is not the only conspicuous ingredient missing (interceptor shortages anyone?). Monday, Secretary Rubio inadvertently admitted that the initial US attack was a hasty reaction to Israeli strikes that preempted US readiness. Tuesday, Rubio revealed there was no concrete plan in place to evacuate cut-off Americans stranded in random locations across the region. What will he tell us today? What about next week? Yesterday, President Trump posted a delusional tweet ordering US naval ships to escort commercial ships through the Straits of Hormuz (SOH), a non-sensical command that if carried out puts the USN in direct line-of-fire from Iranian missiles, drone attacks, mines and proxies. US arrogance accompanied the outbreak of hostilities. Secretary Hegseth has made a series of reckless blusters including: "We didn't start the war but under President Trump we are finishing it." As if living in a parallel universe, CJCS General Caine suggested combat will take longer and "we expect to take additional losses." That sounds ominous. Like chickens running around without heads, Trump, Hegseth and Rubio among other US officials have attempted to redirect via narrative control. Specifically, demonizing Iran as a backward "terrorist state" run by "religious fanatic lunatics" who are "hiding behind its missiles." Well, it appears Iran was prepared and the WH was not: Iran quickly launched counter-attacks, rapidly reorganized after losing a head of State and countless officials, and US-Israeli bombing has been successfully absorbed by dispersed, dug-in Iranian forces prepped to operated independently across the massive Persian landscape. In short, while Iran has weathered the storm so far, Operation Epic Fury is a total cluster fuck: What you are seeing is a dysfunctional government melting down in public, and a President losing control of the situation, and perhaps of his administration. GM - After several days of launching an unprovoked and ill-advised war against Iran several of our worst fears are confirmed: First, this was never a war of strategy, it was a war driven by Zionist eschatology, better said Jewish arrogance, delusion and paranoia. As a result, at Jewish-Israeli direction, the Pentagon eschewed strategic safeguards to protect USM forces and prevent regional contagion against allies and installations across the Gulf. Second, lessons from the 12 Day War last June were not learned: namely that Iran is a serious regional and global power capable of defending itself and destroying Israel, capable of precision strikes across the Gulf, and capable of devastating USM bases and damaging US air and naval platforms. Third, superficial assumptions were made: Iran is isolated, Tehran is weak, there will be an internal coup, killing top leaders will collapse the regime, and ballistic missile sites can be quickly neutralized. Fourth, USM forces can deal a decisive blow without much blowback. Concerns about logistics (rearming, refueling, resupplying), readiness (CSGs are overextended, poorly trained, manpower shortages, merchant marine strains, accidents at sea etc.), and no clear strategy (what is the end state?) were ignored. War plans were rushed and Trump was pressured to start a war the US-Zionist axis cannot win against a nation that is NOT our enemy. Why? Because the USG or “Epstein class” was systematically bullied, bribed, or blackmailed into it. No election was ever going to fix this so DT and MAGA are predictably imploding. GM - Maduro has been removed from power read the headlines of “chaos media” so what does it mean? Maduro in custody is “much ado about nothing” at best and could create serious blowback to the US in Latin America at worst. Let’s discuss. Strategy is a plan to END a conflict based on limited objectives. What has been accomplished by parading Maduro around as a justice trophy? Well, DT's self-congratulatory presser gave us little to answer this question. Many are hailing Operation Absolute Resolve (OAR) in Venezuela (VZ) as a game-changer. What is their case? - US will gobble up the heavy crude oil primed for the taking - Capturing Maduro is a successful anti-drug operation - Delta force’s nighttime raid was a signal to China - Shoring up VZ crude is a hedge against disruption to the Straits of Hormuz Let’s consider these one-by-one: RE: heavy crude - According to DT, such a project entails years of planning and reconstruction ahead of monetization in a fragile country. RE: drug victory - America’s drug war has long been centered on Mexico where the USG has done virtually nothing about the spiraling narco-state, which is wholly disconnected from VZ. RE: Signal to China - China is primarily a regional power focused on Asia. VZ is not strategically vital to China in any way. Remember, oil is a fungible and abundant asset so they will find other sellers probably in Eurasia. RE: Securing crude for Iran strike - another attack on Iran at the behest of Netanyahu appears imminent. However, it is far from clear ME operations has anything to do with VZ other than redirecting naval forces out of the ME. Nothing has really changed. Despite precarious uncertainty at the top, the legacy regime remains in place, though that is subject to change. The real question must be: what has any of this to do with US interests? Beyond the specious arguments above, absolutely nothing. A strategy also measures hypothetical gains against potential risks. What are the risks? Well, they are many: - Regional blowback - VZ regime change only further exercises already feverish anti-Americanism across Latin America. - Money Pit / Mission Creep - In war, the goal is to narrow focus by limiting fronts. Intervening in VZ has simply opened yet another front for overstretched US forces. - Economic Terrorism - As is well documented the IMF, BlackRock, and other bad actors are chomping at the bit to harvest VZ for parts. How does that help America? - VZ Civil War and Regional Chaos - Creating a power vacuum is generally a bad idea. Remember Gaddafi and Assad? So why did OAR go forward? Because DT is a pay-for-play gangster beholden to special interests and because he is falling in the polls, the economy is rotten, and a very serious financial crisis is brewing. POTUS needed a win, and a distraction. Unfortunately, the VZ fiasco is little more than a dangerous maneuver that puts DT and America at risk. As always, let's see what happens next.
