This is horrible. Government getting its mitts on your kids ASAP instead of being at home with parents. Society doesn’t need more parents in the workforce. We need more kids cared for at home by loving Moms and Dads. Fight this with every breath.
Clay Lewis Jenkins@JudgeClayJ

@dallasschools⁩ is voting on UNIVERSAL FULL DAY FREE PRE-K for all 3 and 4 yr olds this week! This is an absolute game changer. Parents will save on childcare. Kids will be better prepared for success in kindergarten and beyond and more parents will join the workforce❣️

.@KLoeffler to @JTLonsdale on the scandal of DEI contracting: The Biden administration "moved it up from a 5% statutory target to 15% of all government contracting. And it went to about 80% no-bid contracts!" Joe Lonsdale: There's a woman named Margarita Howard. Did you hear about this one? She lived in a 14,000 square foot mansion after her company secured hundreds of millions of 8(a) [contracts]... People just got really, really, really rich... no one was even looking for years, and they just kept getting so rich off these things. Kelly Loeffler: And politically, the Biden administration really promoted this. I mean, they moved it up from a 5% statutory target to 15% of all government contracting. That's why the program almost doubled under Biden. And it went to about 80% no-bid contracts. Joe Lonsdale: Just giving to their friends. Kelly Loeffler: Just no bid. Single, sole source. Joe Lonsdale: Just if you are connected in to the Democratic Party friend who's running it... Kelly Loeffler: You will get this contract. Joe Lonsdale: You just get it. Kelly Loeffler:  And it's massive. And there won't be any checks and balances on you, so it'll never be verified. We're doing the first audit of this program in 45 years. It's never been looked at. We've already kicked a thousand people out of the program. Joe Lonsdale: Shouldn't these people be prosecuted? Kelly Loeffler: Well, that's part two...

BREAKING — new details about Friday's Austin bus stabbing. Two passengers were sitting in the back of the #3 bus on South Lamar, having a Bible discussion. Rogerio Martinez, sitting across from them, apparently found this annoying. "I'm tired of hearing your voice,” Martinez said. Then he stood up with a kitchen knife. One was mid-conversation, turned away, when the first blade went into his back. He spun around and threw up his bare hands -- Martinez kept stabbing. Four times total. A stranger named jumped in, pushed Martinez off, and wrestled him into a bus seat. Martinez stabbed him in the leg anyway. Bleeding, the man held him pinned to the seat until police arrived. Officers found Martinez still on the bus, blood on his hands and shirt, surrounded by people he'd just put on the ground. He refused to talk. One victim was transported to Dell Seton in critical condition. The other to South Austin Hospital. Surveillance footage captured all of it. Martinez -- who was named as the suspect yesterday on this account before local news reported it today -- has spent decades cycling through Texas courtrooms: robbing people, strangling a family member, and most recently beating an HEB security guard in the forehead with her own flashlight. Four aggravated robbery charges, a family strangulation, a felony assault knocked to a misdemeanor -- and every time, a system that found a reason to put him back on the street. Two people are in the hospital now because prosecutors apparently never attempted to take him to court and face punishment for his crimes.

Kansas has a bill that requires K-12 schools to teach the horrors of communism, like the Texas legislature passed with @InstituteCicero's support. But leftist special interests are lining up to turn lawmakers against it. Let's help freedom win in KS, and take back our schools!
Cicero Institute@InstituteCicero

Communist regimes killed more people in the 20th century than both World Wars combined. Over 100 million. And yet 34% of young Americans have a favorable view of communism. This is an education problem – and Kansas can now do something about it.

Special interests have captured California. Despite being the 4th largest economy in the world and having the highest taxes in the country, California is unaffordable, we don’t build enough housing, our cities are unsafe, and we’re experiencing net migration out of the state. We need to act to save California.

We wrote the first check into Quince and never shared our thesis publicly At the time, D2C was radioactive and 'affordable luxury' sounded like an oxymoron. Today they raised at $10B. We couldn't be more excited. Here's why we believed — and why we think it's still early! 8vc.com/resources/quin…

I'll echo hundreds of stories shared here, that Charlie Kirk's assassination, and the mainstream left's response, permanently altered my worldview. It left me speechless. I realized there is truely something wicked, evil, sinister brewing deep in the hearts of those who would celebrate something so vile as the murder of husband, father, and public debator and defender of free speach. I didn't even watch the guy or know much about him before his assassination, but after catching up on him, I realize I hold 90% of the same views he held, and that those who celebrated his death would celebrate my own if I were so outspoken, courageous, and productive as he was. It made me realize that my method of 'staying out of politics', 'toeing the line', 'third-wayism', trying to play the 'both sides have really good points and are sincere and lets all get along' etc was no longer tenable, and that for all the faults, hypocrisy, and cringe that plagues the mainstream right, what we have on the left was overt celebration of the most profound Evil I can imagine. Again, this is coming form someone who didn't know much at all about Charlie Kirk, I cannot imagine how much this event galvanized those who followed him closely.
Daniel@growing_daniel

The degree to which Charlie Kirk's assassination affected people and their decisions about life will never be fully comprehended or conveyed but it seems to be surprisingly large
