The whole PRIDE movement is old and tired.
People do not want the government forking over millions for PRIDE festivals.
Many Canadians are suffering, trying to put food on their table and a roof over their heads - the very basics.
The already overtaxed Canadians can no longer support all the special interest groups.
Companies are feeling the squeeze and can no longer financially support communities that rely on their funding.
Companies have a choice; the taxpayer does not.
Healthcare, social services, police and firefighters take precedent over festivals and parades.
There are more pressing needs than funding parades where people march in their birthday suits.
The 'Santa Claus Parades' are no longer the spectacle they once were.
Say NO to PRIDE funding.

Corporations in the United States and Canada have begun cutting back on their DEI intiatives since Trump was re-elected in 2024, including funding for Pride festivals.
Now these festivals are asking the Liberals to send them taxpayer money to make up for the shortfall.
What would you say to them?

@theNiFTelement @JakeSucky I had the same problem with Destiny 2, too much bending backwards and contortions for a regular gamer to get to enjoy all the content the game had to offer and paid in full for.
There's no marketing mentioning - you will need to sink hours per day to get to see the whole game.

Then I went to NA 15 years ago I found out that the chocolate was a strange gooey thing that was melting in your hand, no matter if kept in the fridge or not.
