Since Covid mutates at an alarming rate, vaccines need to be constantly updated. Also no vaccine stops transmission, which means vulnerable people are still at risk. Masks do 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻. Extremely effectively.

@celfstone So far none of the Covid vaccines developed, in Cuba or the West or anywhere else, are too specific targeting for that to be possible. Cuba's vaccines do have better coverage than Phizer-BioNTech, more like Novavax, but that's still not nearly good enough coverage.
