@ChadMoran Tesla actually does this all the time. They advertise features and updates on their social media as if they are shipped before they actually ship them. It’s weird

People complain about Rivian's release process but just about the entire fleet has the update within 2 weeks. Tesla's process is opaque and messages like this are a bit tone deaf when you don't know most of your fleet doesn't even have the update.

I love how people get very excited for new car purchases, however, I always ask, does it drive itself? Guess what the majority of these people say.

@OGcoolhandluke @callmegdot I made over $100,000 cash when I was 24 because I bought a cheap house and lived in it for three years when I was 21. So, I had a place to live for 3 years (no “rent”) and I got paid $100K at the end of it. Renting is literally dumb if you have any way to get a mortgage.

Let me ask a serious question. If you have $30-$40k saved up right, are you telling me your going to wanna put all that down on a house down payment just to have a $3200 mortgage??

I 100% trust it to drive me. Even after working at 16 hour day and I have a 10 hour drive home and I pass out a few times. It’s not as smooth as it used to be. I don’t remember it ever actually using my brakes in normal traffic. Now it does. I’m sure that’ll get ironed out soon. I also have to take over every time I want to pull into my driveway. Everytime. And I have to interact with the stupid prompt. Everytime. Navigation is what has really fallen behind. Map says one thing, car goes somewhere else. Still light years better than everything else

As someone who is thinking about getting a Tesla, it's honestly confusing to know the real state of FSD. Half my feed (people I trust) post "it's perfect! ready for Unsupervised!" The other half (people I trust) post videos of phantom braking and critical interventions.

@No0bjection @Nilkski_ Very simple minded take there. Your physical gas tank (a literal tank) is larger, and you can pull a few extra pounds, those are literally the only 2 ways that your truck is better. The CT is better than your truck in well over 2 ways lol.
